"I took my family out for a nice lunch. We have never had an issue here until today. If I could give ZERO stars for atmosphere I would and I will explain why. While sitting at our table we overhead one of the servers yelling across the restaurant talking about my wife and saying how she was an awful person because my wife is the animal control officer for Havelock city limits. The discussion continued for almost 10 minutes of her just bashing my wife which caused our entire table to be so upset we could not finish our food. It affected us so much that I went to the counter to ask for the manager. It turns out the server bashing and lying about my wife is the current manager on the clock, Lisa. I obviously did not bring it up because she wouldn’t have done anything because she is the one who we were having a problem with. I am beyond disgusted with the treatment we received here. I have never experienced a manager as immature, arrogant, unprofessional, rude, extremely loud, and lack of situational awareness like this before. She does not deserve to have this position for the simple fact she was speaking like this in front of customers. She’s allowed to have her opinion about my wife because that comes with the job as a public servant but to do this in front of customers is not okay. I will be calling later for the next in line supervisor or the owner because this situation needs to be handled correctly."

"Can't believe I am writing this, but I did give myself 2 days to cool off. Its been a minute since I have seen service so bad, which is a terrible shame because the food is great. Either order take out, or take a chance. To be fair, we must have just had bad luck because the young woman we had was a petty, childish, immature person that had no business in Hospitality. We entered the restaurant literally laughing and joking and having a good time having just come back from the Marlins baseball game. By the time we left everyone was frustrated, unhappy, and made to feel like their business could care less about its patronsBy the time we left everyone was frustrated, unhappy, and made to feel like their business could care less about its patrons. To set the scene understand that there was 4 tables occupied when we entered and our young server had us and another table finishing up as her clients. Everything went wrong when I asked her for a minute to look over the menu. Boy did I pay for that... After disappearing for about 15 minutes without even finishing our drink order she finally came back and it got no better from there. We sat there almost yelling for her to come back over while she finished up the one other table she had and then went on to box up what looked like to go orders even though there were 4 other servers standing around doing nothing she made sure that we waited a long time before she returned. Kind of petty....and like a 12 year old would act. We should have got up and went somewhere else but we were trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and each time she came over we were more and more friendly. That did not help in fact I think it made it worse. Throughout the course of a wonderful dinner she either disappeared, again she had no other table the place is not that big, Or she would stomp over and act like we were the worst by asking for a fork or a glass of ice. You would have thought we were asking for her child to be sacrificed to allah. You win young lady, you really showed us! You turned what was a joyous evening into one of the worst dining (service not doi) experiences I have had in my 50+ years of dining out. A person that makes sure that no other people are happy should never be in the hospitality industry.. Other than ask for a minute to peruse a large and delicious menu we did absolutely nothing to warrant that kind of behavior. We are sorry you had to work on a Saturday or maybe your goldfish died or maybe your underwear was too tight? Whatever it was you had absolutely know right to make 4 people feel the way you did for no reason other than selfish pettiness. I didn't catch her name or else I would post it to beware but I can tell you she was the youngest server that was on that night and the most unhappy soul I have seen in a while."

"Today I placed an order which totaled $49.Part of my order was for a “medium rare” cheeseburger. I must have said “medium rare” cheese burger 4 times; maybe more. The guy who taken my phone order also repeated it. I also said 3 or 4 times about directions to my apartment because there’s 3 elevators in my building. You take the wrong elevator you end up somewhere else in the building. The guy had no interest in listening to me nor writing it down. He repeatedly said the delivery guy will call me when he arrives at my apartment. The call lasted about 12 minutes. I’m very patient but it was aggravating having to repeat everything a few times. The guy assured me the delivery guy would call me. He didn’t.The burger was “medium well done” — I called back that phone call was another 10 minutes or more. I not only told whomever answered the phone about the burger but the guy who took my order talked to me! And then a woman spoke to me. Imagine!! The woman verified I DID order a “medium rare” burger but added that “the cook probably didn’t see that” — unbelievable!! What’s the point of asking for your burger a certain way? No apology from anyone. Very unprofessional; poor manners and rude. A “medium rare” burger was then delivered in its place. After spending almost a half hour on the phone I felt this place had no interest in their customers. I’ll never order from them again. PS — the burger was just okay."
