"I ordered takeout, picked it up and went to the place where I was dog sitting. Upon opening the box(that I should have checked before leaving the drive through , I was greeted with a pizza that looked like it had been in one of those Domino's pizza commercials where the driver does everything but run over the pizza! It was originally made very poorly and was so thin there was hardly any crust. When I tried to pick up a piece, it just tore up. So I decided that I would call and ask for a replacement. Long story short, I was instructed to bring the first pizza back to exchange it for a new one. I asked for the manager (didn't get her name‍ , and I asked if she could compensate me in some way for my inconvenience and she proceeded to blame me for the shape of the pizza saying that since I was late picking up the order, the pizza had deteriorated!?!I sat there at the window and discussed with her my inconvenience and displeasure but as I said, apparently it was all my fault! I was and still am dumbfounded at her demeanor, disrespect, and lack of customer service. The second pizza was made just right. It was hot, fresh, and tasted and looked right."

"When we arrived I immediately noticed that there was hardly anything on the buffet and so I thought they were getting ready to replenish it. The buffet starts at 11:00 am and we arrived at 11:40. I paid for 4 buffets, myself and 3 children. After being there for about 20 minutes I asked one of the workers when would the buffet be replenished and he said oh yea I forgot. Needless to say they only replenished the pepperoni pizza and the meats pizza nothing else. My children had one of each and did not like the pizza at all! Which was surprising to me because they absolutely love pizza. Will not eat here again or Johnnys ever again."

"We often frequented this beloved restaurant on Colquitt Road. The pizza is consistently excellent and affordable. You can’t go wrong with the 'Sweep the Kitchen' (we typically add extra mushrooms). For nearly 30 years, we enjoyed Johnny’s every Friday night, but I’ve recently developed a gluten sensitivity that has made it a bit challenging for me. However, my husband still visits at least once a week. I highly recommend Johnny’s to everyone at any time!"

"Over 2 years since Covid first happened, and they still use that as an excuse as to why they don't have a buffet. This was my first time in over a year here, and will be my last time. Having a lunch buffet option available for people who work nearby is away to show you appreciate your customers. Not having it is like giving us a middle finger, and telling us you don't want us ascustomers. I get it so I won't ever be back unless you have a buffet available again. Myself, countless friends, family, andmembers of the community have stopped going here because of this. It might make good business sense to bring it back now."

"I visited the Exxon station at the intersection of Line Street and Kong’s Highway to ask for directions to a pizza place. One person recommended Pizza Hut, while another suggested I try Johnny's instead. The directions were straightforward, and my experience at Johnny's was wonderful! The pizza was fantastic, and the staff were outstanding. They even offered me some delicious breadsticks while I waited. I will definitely be returning—it was the best pizza I've had in ages. A big thank you to the guy at Exxon for the recommendation!"

"The Lunch Buffet was dismal. I spent my whole 30 minute lunch break in the restaurant and there were only two pizzas on the buffet the entire time. Every table in the restaurant was dirty. I saw customers searching for a place to sit, eventually havingto choose a dirty table to eat at. There was a big puddle of water on the floor right near the cashier and no one ever paid itany attention. Customer were constantly having to walk around it carefully as to not slip and fall. I definitely feel I wascheated. I spent $13 on a buffet and a drink and was only able to eat two pieces of pizza. The days of Johnny?s being myfavorite pizza are long gone evidently. I could have eaten a frozen pizza in the comfort of my own home and had a betterexperience."

"Based on my last couple of experiences, here is why I rated them with one star. Often, since it's just my husband and me, we either order in or go out for dinner, so periodically, it rolls around to order pizza. As we have many choices where pizza is concerned, we CHOSE Johnny's. I ordered pizza online for pick up. We get to the store to pick it up at the window, and the first person we see is a young lady sitting down in the kitchen area eating and licking her fingers (I kno that was a red flag right? Well we decided to get the pizza anyway as the night was getting late. We get home, and the pizza had very minimal to no cheese on it! Now we didn't know askn for extra cheese meant NO CHEESE! And if that wasn't enough, the wings we ordered were hella big and undercooked. Folks, what I suggest is checkn ur food before pulling off as u don't know what disappointed u may get when u get home!"

"First time having a pizza delivered and when it arrived 45 minutes later one of the pizzas was all shoved to one side of the box which ended up falling out onto my floor so the entire pizza went in the garbage. Not sure what happened during transport but itwas edible after that. I called to pay and complain and They offered to make another one but that would take another hour toarrive and it was already 8:30. Could have just not charged us for it. We have always used Johnnys but too many issues lately sotime to look for another pizza place. They have lost our business."

"We recently visited Ruston and enjoyed a meal at Johnny's Pizza, where we ordered a medium Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. It was packed with cheese, Canadian bacon, and pineapple, and it tasted amazing. We ended up finishing the whole pizza! However, when we got back home to Shreveport, we decided to order the same pizza from Johnny's again. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The crust was incredibly thin, there was hardly any cheese, and the amount of Canadian bacon and pineapple was very sparse. The crust was also dry and hard. We were really let down."

"I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with light sauce, but the cheese was almost burnt, and there was barely any sauce on it at all. I expected "light" sauce to mean about half the usual amount. The dough and sauce were quite bland as well. While the employee was friendly and her service was good, she ultimately served me a pizza that I wouldn't have hesitated to have remade when I used to make pizzas myself."

"After a day of driving it was time for some pizza. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was delightful. The staff was very friendly and the order came out relatively fast. Orders to go were going out the door constantly and the phone was always ringing so it was obvious that this was a popular pizza place. It used to be a very good one, however the two teens behind the counter are way more concerned about not being here then handling my order. Zero customer service skills. I am an ex manager of a local restaurant and these two would never have made the cut under my watch."
