"Rock Rolls Sushi Lounge has created our favorite dish in Corpus Christi! We can't stop talking about it and eagerly look for the next chance to return and enjoy it again. The Wagyu Flank Tacos are extraordinary! The meat is perfectly sliced and paired with goat cheese, cilantro, and a fried quail egg on a mini corn tortilla. The blend of flavors and textures is unmatched, with the creamy quail egg yolk acting as a natural sauce that surpasses any sauce humanity could invent, harmonizing beautifully with the spices and goat cheese. Rock Rolls Sushi Lounge offers other incredible dishes as well, which we’ll share in an upcoming blog. For now, if you haven’t tried the Wagyu Tacos yet, they should be at the top of your must-try menu! We also enjoyed the Kajiki—pepper-seared marlin with a spicy hot sauce on the side, creating a perfect balance of heat and texture. The Red Tuna Salad surprised us in the best way. The tuna was impeccably fresh, with cucumber cut into a playful spiral shape resembling a necklace. A single tomato quarter and a light dressing of sesame oil, soy, and cucumber juice formed a delicate sauce that allowed the tuna’s flavors to shine. This is one of the most refined takes on tuna we’ve ever had. We also tried several rolls, all expertly crafted with just the right amount of sauce and thoughtfully designed flavor and texture combinations.
