"I was really excited to try this place after seeing it, but I had to wait until Sunday since they were closed on Saturday. The portion sizes were decent, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. The server couldn't answer any of my questions about the food and kept saying she was just helping out. I asked if the pinto beans were canned, and inquired about the greens and other vegetables. I ended up getting the greens, which were overloaded with jalapeños. The chitterlings had way too much pepper; I love black pepper, but it completely overwhelmed the flavor of the otherwise perfectly cooked chitterlings. To top it off, even though the change I was supposed to receive was printed on my receipt, she couldn’t figure out how much to give me back. The VIP tea was also quite disappointing."
