"My wife and I were in town from 1 1/2 hours to make shopping. We decided to try this place for lunch, especially because I liked the pictures of the onion rings. I thought if the bbq is not very good, at least they make their onion rings as I prefer. I had the 3 meat dinner and my wife had the smoked burger. First, I don't think I ever had a smoked burger, and I tried a bite and was very impressed. This is a unique burger taste from the smoke. I tried the sausage, pulled pork and cut brisket. The sausage tasted very inconspicuous when you know what I mean. You didn't buy it from Walmart like other places I was. It was tender and had very good taste. I give the sausage 8/10. The pulled pig was moist and not too strict as some other places are. It was very good, but I have it with a more robust seasoning once or twice before. I'll give him an 8/10. The brisket was well trimmed, I had no noticeable fat. It had very good taste and was also very delicate. I'll give it 8/10. The onion rings were 10 for me! Oh, and the BBQ sauce was 11! I love sweet and it was sweet, but also with a little kick. The stuff is excellent! Since we don't live there, I don't know how they compare with other BBQ sites. I know that we probably won't try these other places because we found an excellent grill here. I was very happy today. Maybe some days aren't as good as others, I don't know. But what I had today was excellent. That's why I write these reviews. I read some reviews and they had negative intake on the ribs, which is why I avoided them this time. I can give them a try next time. I think if you try this place, the food will be worth the visit."

"I wish I wasn 't so liberal with my 5 star ratings because I don 't want it to look like I just handing 5s out like candy on Halloween. I really MEAN IT this time! In fact the dinning experience here was one of the best ones I 've had in all my 37 years. This place is absolutely phenomenal. Even my wife used that word and she 's been described as stoic . So basically you book 3 days in advance and pay for the dinner ahead of time. All the drinks are à la carte when you get there. There is limited space and they are only open a few days a week. The setting is intimate to say the least. However they have a full bar and it 's not small by any means. The soundtrack was perfect. Janis Joplin to Dolly 's Jolene. Everything played flowed through the night like the perfect soundtrack. The groove had to be intentional. We got to sit right at the back where we could sort of see the kitchen. Or at least the serving area. After we were seated the chef prepared complimentary cocktails for everyone. You got these while waiting for all the guests to arrive. It opens at 6 and you have until 6:30 to get there. We arrived at 6:08. We didn 't want to be the first or last. After everyone was seated we were served small plates. Marinated olives and roasted chestnuts. Both were spectacular. I was so confused. Like have I never had chestnuts? Are they always this good? One of the chefs was also the owner. He came out to speak while we were working on the venison ribs, which by the way was the best venison I 've ever had. I 'm fact I 've never been a fan of venison. The ribs were amazing. Anyway, he sat at the bar and thanked us for coming. He went over coming up with the menu and owning a business. He talked about how much it meant to him that we were there and then we all toasted. It was awesome to see how heartfelt the thought put into what he prepared was. We had salad toast which you 'll never understand. Lamb fritters which my wife loved and she does not ever eat lamb. Tortellini and chicken Parm that had celery on top. Then creme brûlée with a touch of mint. Given what we paid and how much we ate this was a steal. There was so much food. We both took home half the main course and still felt like we might pop. There wasn 't one thing we found disagreeable. This needs to be a destination spot. If you and the one you love wanna air BnB a romantic cabin for a week and then book this place for the last night I wouldn 't be offended. Imitation is the best form of flattery. I cannot wait to tell everyone about this place. Truly cannot remember a better dinning experience."
