"I’ve lived in Frisco for 10 years, dining at kotta on a monthly and regular basis. Tonight despite having a reservation at 8:15, we were turned away because we were told “ they were no longer seating reservations or walk ins” 45 minutes before they close. Because the owner said ! WHAT, I’ve been in food service for 20 years and am pretty disappointed with this experience. Sad to say we won’t be going back to kotta any time soon ."

"I had to write another review because this place never disappoints. The team, including Ricky and Melanie, are top notch. They are welcoming and incredibly helpful. The tuna crudo with apples and chili are a must have, and my go to roll is the yellow tail basil. Food never disappoints. Please visit this spot! I have been to this spot over 10 times now and it truly never disappoints. It’s become my go to sushi spot. The staff is great and friendly. I highly suggest trying the chefs tasting menu if it’s your first time. Our go to is the Yellow Tail Basil roll and the sushi and sashimi deluxe. Their mochi is great too, if they have espresso or chocolate chip try it! The aesthetic is beautiful, Modern, and clean. The food is fresh, delicious and consistent."

"The staff at this restaurant are friendly, and the food is beautifully presented. It's a great spot if you stick to specific dishes. We tried the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was quite bland and the noodles were overly clumped together, earning a 2/5. In contrast, the Drunken Noodles were bursting with flavor and packed with ingredients. A little heat would make it perfect, so I’d give it a 4.5/5. We’ll definitely have to come back to try their curries and fried dishes someday."
