"It was very busy, but the restaurant has a lot of seats, so I didn't have to wait long. The food seems to be made fresh. I ordered the Oaxaca Bowl and it was amazing. Good food, rice and beans were tasteful. The vegetables should not be overcooked. The free chips were warm and the salsa was lightly spicy. Be careful because it is easy to fill them. My waiter checked me regularly and the place was pretty clean. Compared to recent experience in similar restaurants, I am very impressed. A huge television hangs over the seats that show FIFA World Cup. The decor is beautiful and you have comfortable high-back stands. I will definitely be back!"

"My fiancée and I stopped by for a quick dinner, and we were not disappointed. The entire restaurant is filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly prepared dishes that tantalize your taste buds. The salsa is perfectly blended and paired with hot chips, and the chicken fajitas, along with the rice and beans, are seasoned just right. Delicious! The servers are friendly and attentive, ensuring we always had drinks and salsa when needed. We absolutely love the authentic atmosphere of this unique place. It will definitely be our top choice for delicious food whenever we're in town!"

"Guess who's expanding?! I chatted with Charlie, the owner of Loco Charlie's, and he mentioned that they plan to connect the two rooms this week. The wall art is almost finished, and the bar counter already has extended seating at the door! We ordered the fish taco plate, two shredded beef taquitos, and a Chile verde burrito, all served with a selection of chips and salsas on the spacious terrace. Who has the best fish taco in the desert? That's up for debate, but Loco Charlie's tacos are definitely impressive. They're fried super crispy with a delicious breadcrumb crust. From what I gather, each establishment has its own recipe for the fish, which makes them unique. And the fish portions were generous! The service was friendly, and since we went early at 11:00 yesterday, it wasn't too busy."

"It was a quiet evening when we arrived and were seated right away. The service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal. I tried the spicy mango margarita, which was delicious but a bit expensive at $15 for under 8oz. My wife and I shared the shrimp ceviche and the flautas de pollo. The portion sizes were reasonable for a restaurant in Denver, but felt a bit small compared to what you might expect in Mexico. We weren’t offered any chips and salsa, which was a little disappointing. Our total for two appetizer-sized dishes and one drink came to $55 after an additional credit card fee, and we left a $10 tip, bringing our total to $65. We had a wonderful conversation with Rick, the owner, who was a fantastic person. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family."

"This restaurant is filled with wonderful people, delicious food, and excellent service. Our meals arrived before we could even finish our chips, and I have to say, the food was outstanding. I’ll definitely make it a point to visit El Reparao whenever I'm in town. I just wish there was a location closer to home. Thank you for a fantastic experience!"

"If you leave this restaurant hungry, you messed up somewhere. Getting the Ranchero Special with their hottest salsa is the best combo in my opinion to have here. The table salsa is top notch and the queso is top shelf. The staff is super friendly and seem to be all family or relatives of some kind which brings the atmosphere and customer service to a 5 star level. This place is a hidden gem that shouldn't be over looked, EVER!"

"Lulu’s Taco Shop is a spiritual experience wrapped in a tortilla. Five stars without even blinking. The enchiladas? Straight fire. Not like oh this is kinda spicy fire, I mean fire as in you might shed a single tear and reconsider every weak excuse for an enchilada you have ever eaten. The tacos are on a whole different level. Life transforming. One bite in and I started reevaluating my decisions, my job, my place in the universe. These tacos do not play around. They are loaded, perfectly seasoned, and somehow taste like love, chaos, and victory all at once. Even the rice and beans slap. Usually that part is an afterthought, but here it is like the supporting cast came to win an award. Not dry, not bland, just perfectly done. Service? Amazing. The staff is friendly, fast, and acts like they actually want you there, which is rare and deeply appreciated. Whole vibe is laid back and exactly what a taco spot should be. Lulu’s delivers every time. Come hungry, leave full and possibly emotionally attached. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Of all the Mexican restaurants we have been to, the food here would rank the lowest. The taco salad had a pool of watery cheese at the bottom of the shell was a pool of liquid. Service was good. Parking: The lot is not lit making it a bit difficult to navigate at night. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"The menu says for the vegetarian burrito that is only has rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, onions, cilantro, and salsa... it did NOT say lettuce and tomatoes, or I would have removed them from the burrito. Not making what someone paid for per your own advertisement is super freaking lame and it is one of the most irritating things on the bleeping planet....it is NOT HARD to simply make what the menu says you will be getting without adding things it clearly does not state it has in it, oh and btw if you want to spend 10 min picking almost half the meat out of your asada taco that is actually disgusting gristle (which you discovered by biting down on it gag! and fat pieces then this is the place for you....but if you don't want to spend time wondering which part seemed like a bigger waste, deciding what to be disappointed with for your order or picking the inedible parts out of aforementioned order then this is the joint for you."

"Best Mexican food in Williamsburg! New Mexico Place on Graham Ave is a hidden gem among local restaurants and has become my favorite Mexican spot. The restaurant has a modest appearance, but from the very first bite of their homemade chips and salsa, it's evident that high-quality ingredients, authentic Mexican culinary skills, and a passion for cooking make New Mexico Place truly special. Whenever I can’t decide on dinner during the week, I find myself at New Mexico Place enjoying their $6 happy hour sangria (which is fruity yet dry) and relishing their Azteca Soup. My favorite dish is their steak fajitas, which are distinguished by the crunchy, fresh vegetables sautéed with the juicy steak. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in Brooklyn, look no further than New Mexico Place!"

"I ordered the Enchiladas Jalisco, which were supposed to include chicken, steak, and shrimp—at least, that's what I was told. In reality, I received two tiny shrimp, tough chicken, and chewy steak. The corn tortillas were excessively mushy. I also tried the Mahi Mahi tacos; while the fish was fried decently, the tortillas were soggy, making the meal just mediocre. The rice was overcooked, and the refried beans seemed like they came straight from a can. Overall, the food is overpriced for the quality you receive. The chef clearly needs more practice. I have no idea how this place has a 4-star rating—it feels misleading. I usually never leave reviews, but I'm really frustrated."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The taco shells were incredibly stale, as if they had been left out for a week before being served. I returned my order and received a refund, as the food was completely inedible. Despite having "Most Popular Taco Joint" award ribbons displayed on the wall, this place fell far short of expectations. In a town where mediocrity seems to be the norm, this restaurant failed to impress. The service was lacking, the atmosphere was subpar, and the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend dining here. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"My second time going there. The first time I went with the family, 5 of us. My husband and I shared a dish made for 2. We got our food so fast and everything was delicious! We went back again, 3 of us and again the service was spectacular! My husband and I ordered the same dish, the Supreme Molcajete! It is to die for! A combination of chicken, steak and shrimp marinated in this heavenly sauce full of flavor. They say its enough for 2 but we were 3. Along with chips and guacamole it was more than enough. And their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place and give them and A+"

"Coming here my first time, I was a bit skeptical about the authenticity and quality of the food. I couldn't have been any more wrong, this place is amazingly good. The service was fantastic, very attentive when we needed help. The food was delicious, flavorful and equal to some of the best out there. We had a monster carne asada burrito (this is one big burrito) and checkedtaquitos plate for lunch. No doubt I will be back with my coworkers soon to try a different dish and I will definitely recommendit to my friends and tell more coworkers about this place. The price is fair for the time being with inflation and allhappening."

"My experience at the restaurant could have been better if my order had been correct. However, they did fix the mistake fairly quickly. I requested a booth, and there were plenty available, yet the older Hispanic hostess insisted I sit at the bar since I was alone. Considering it was almost closing time and the restaurant was mostly empty, it seemed unreasonable not to let me have a booth. I'm not someone who enjoys sitting at the bar or drinking, so that was disappointing. To make matters worse, I was charged for a takeout drink that I never received, so I'll have to return the next time they're open to either get it or request a refund. The waitress was friendly and helpful, except for the issue with the soda. Overall, I found the meal to be pricey, especially given the mistakes they made with my order. As for parking, be aware that there are limited spots for such a large restaurant, and it fills up quickly during peak hours."

"Yesterday, I ordered the Tampiqueña Combo, which features carne asada with bell peppers, onions, and hot red peppers. It also comes with a cheese enchilada, rice, and beans, but I opted for fries and a salad instead. The only inconsistency I’ve noticed is how they cook the meat; yesterday's meat was just okay. I'm not sure if it depends on the type of meat or the chef for that day. While it was delicious, I've had better meat dishes there before. My toddler, who is 15 months old, had the kid's quesadilla with rice and beans. She loved it and finished all the rice and beans! I really enjoy this place and will definitely keep coming back. Great atmosphere and excellent service!"

"Wow, me and my coworker came on our Lunch break for the lunch special (ends at 3PM). I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my coworker got the shrimp and scallop chimichanga especial. We both really really enjoyed our food. It was a great price and a great portion. It also came with chips and salsa which surprised me and made me so happy because I was gonna order some separate. I definitely feel like the chicken fajitas was a great choice if you’re trying to have a balanced healthy meal. It had a healthy portion of sour cream and guac and left me really satisfied but not feeling guilty. My coworker told me to tell everyone he really enjoyed too and was debating going back for more to save for later lol. 10/10 recommend!"

"This place is so great! They have a lovely dog-friendly outdoor patio with heaters for the winter and ceiling fans for the summer. Two kinds of complimentary salsa come with fresh chips while you wait for your food, and they?re both good. One was fresh salsa and the other was a bit spicier, with a smoky chipotle flavor. We ordered two chicken dishes. First was chicken Jalisco (which is just pollo a la crema with veggies). The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a super creamy sauce and came piled high with grilled vegetables. The second dish was choripollo, and it was also fantastic. Again, the kitchen delivered perfectly moist chicken with a lovely sear, paired with a thick creamy cheese sauce. It was topped with what looked to be an entire gd sausage and it was a thing of beauty. There were at least four ounces of chorizo that had been sliced open and browned on the grill. It was as delicious as it looked. Side note: I asked for a side of sour cream and they delivered. Sometimes restaurants spoon an extra tablespoon of crema fresca of your plate and call it good, but this is a legit side that actually appeared at the same time as my order. These guys are on point. Saving the best for last, our server was Alex, and he was the real treasure for this meal. Alex is a ray of extremely competent sunshine. I highly recommend going off-peak so you can have a delightful little chat with him."
