"However, my stance changed when this restaurant was chosen for a catch-up session with one of my friends. I’m pleased to say that the customer service was quite good. When I first walked in, there was no one there to greet me, but within a minute, a young lady emerged from the kitchen, welcomed me, and asked if I needed a table for one since I was alone. I requested a table for two, and she quickly brought over some menus and flatware, then escorted me to my table, informing me of our waitress's name as I settled in. My friend arrived just a couple of minutes later, and we began reviewing the menu. We ordered water and juice and were ready with our choices when our server came to take our order. Unfortunately, that was the last time we saw her until we received our check. Our food and drinks were delivered by another staff member. The drinks arrived promptly, but we had to wait a bit for our food (we both ordered the Boutique Sampler, which included red velvet pancakes, cinnamon swirl pancakes, stuffed French toast, and a side of bacon). I would have preferred my food to be served hot instead of lukewarm, but I still rate them 4 stars for their friendly greeting, the speed of getting a table and placing our order, the generous portions of water and juice, and the generous serving sizes of our meals. I truly enjoyed the stuffed French toast. The red velvet pancakes and cinnamon swirl pancakes were okay, but not something I would order again. The prices are reasonable as well. Tip: Residential street parking is FREE on weekends! (This review is also posted on Yelp.)"

"The only reason to go here is if you’re within 3 blocks, have a very limited amount of time, and do not care about whether the food you are eating tastes good.My fiancé and I live 3 blocks away and love to go out to breakfast. Every 5 months or so we’ll want to get something quick and, knowing that this place is almost guaranteed to have availability, convince ourselves that it isn’t that bad. And yet, each time, we are exceedingly disappointed. The servers and staff are all great, don’t get me wrong. But the food is just flat out never good. They have a “fun” menu with a lot of creative items. But none of those interesting-sounding menu items actually taste good. It really makes you feel as though they don’t even care if the food is good, just that it sounds interesting enough to convince you to order it. We went this morning and, knowing all that I know about this place as outlined above, I went with a classic breakfast item, Eggs Benedict. I figured, ok, so the unique items aren’t ever good, but maybe they just try too hard with those. How hard can it really be to give you some solid Eggs Benedict?? Well, hard enough for them! Worst thing I’ve ever had there, and unquestionably the worst Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Dry as could be, barely any hollandaise, just trash. Photo is included. There are so many great places to eat in this area, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!"
