"I was hesitant to just leave a review because I don't want a ton of people to find out and flood this hidden jewel. The Happy Hour is ineffective and is every day from 4-6:30. The selection of appetizers is large and diverse, and each dish was incredibly fresh and well thought out. You can't beat $6 a court as good as they tasted. I would highly recommend the meatballs and tacos, and we also really enjoyed the salad cups and hummus. Another table near us had the Burger and Pommes, and by appearance alone I will definitely order the next time. I also had the strawberries habanero margarita and it was so spicy and fresh in the best way. The bartender has actually made it with good tequila, so it ranked up at $5 (all cocktails are this price during the happy hour), which I liked, but would recommend the full price for the better tequila just because the cheap stuff removed from the taste. My only criticism is that the terrace furniture has seen their days, but sitting outside was so peaceful with the sounds of flowing water from the beautiful well. I can't wait to bring all my friends and family to this place!"

"I'm so happy to have Cuban food so close to campus now! It's the closest thing to Haitian food, which I miss not having ease of access to. I hope this may spark a trend of other cultural foods (beside Asian--inspired cuisine) to come into town. The food tastes delicious! And they always offer reasonable portion sizes for the price. The only downside is they haven't had tostones for the LONGEST time, ever since they opened last semester. It kind of feels weird to have it on the menu, but never have it in stock. If their larger sister restaurant in Durham can serve them, there must be a way to get it to the smaller store. I hope they come soon!"

"My friends and I have been recently exploring the local downtown Long Beach restaurants with big appetites and high expectations, and so far we have been very impressed.Utopia certainly stands out to be one of the best, exceeding our expectations with what has to be the friendliest staff, superior service, a fantastic selection of appetizers, authentic Italian fare, and of course, wine!You can taste the high quality ingredients used in all their menu items so you might expect their prices would be higher than other Italian restaurants, but they are not. Add good friends, great food, a delicious selection of wine, lots of laughter, and some very cool artwork, and you have all the ingredients for a most memorable evening!"
