"Taco El Guero offers six different taco options, and I tried half of them during my visit. I managed to fit all three on a salad plate, so the portions are quite small. From left to right, I tasted al pastor (marinated pork), asada (steak), and cachete (beef cheek). Al pastor is usually my go-to choice for tacos, and this one did not disappoint. It was incredibly flavorful, with tender pork wrapped in a perfectly chewy corn tortilla—absolutely delicious!
While al pastor is my all-time favorite taco, the asada stole the spotlight at this location. The steak was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth, perfectly complemented by onions and cilantro. I highly recommend it.
Cachete tacos can sometimes have a strange texture and be overly fatty, but this one was lean with just a slight toughness. The flavor, however, was excellent—I really enjoyed the beef cheek taco!
The tacos were served with both red and green sauces. I couldn’t identify the ingredients, but both were delicious. The green sauce had a milder heat and a more vinegar-forward flavor, while the red sauce was intensely spicy and my favorite of the two, packed with flavor.
I was very impressed by this little taqueria. There are so many around, but this one really stood out to me! I give it a 5/5 and will definitely be back!"
