Our evening began with a fascinating introduction to the history of Marco's, followed by a pizza-making demonstration. They make their own dough and use 40 pepperonis on every pepperoni pizza! They’re actually the only chain pizza restaurant that prepares their dough in-house. They make an effort to source their vegetables locally and specifically use Hanover tomatoes.
We started with some cheese sticks, then moved on to salad, pizza, and finished with cinnamon sticks topped with frosting for dessert. I ordered the Chicken Florentine, Pepperoni, and the Deluxe pizza, which included pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and peppers. Although I’ve lived just down the street, I hadn’t tried Marco's before, but I was excited to attend this event. I can’t wait to bring my family along next time!"
