"First person to greet us after we sat down was our server. He must've been having a rough day or maybe it was the heat.. he made us feel unwelcomed from the start. He seemed real irritated. Never came to ask us if we needed anything or how the food was. We didn't ask for much. Could've been a better experience. Food was mid. Portions were decent. If looking for a Mexican restaurant, this wouldn't be the first, second or third place I'd recommend."

"(Updated) I came back since Los Jimadores changed owners and changed names and it's been a big improvement! I came at an off time but the food was way better than it had been when this place was still Amigos. The steak in my food was seared perfectly and excellently seasoned. A marked improvement. The decor is nicer and the seating is much more open. It's still not my favorite Mexican restaurant within 10 miles but it's become a much more desirable option. I can at least say it's the best tex-mex north-west Columbus has to offer. (Outdated) Amigo's offers pretty standard tex-mex fare but I'd take it over El Vaquero any day of the week. The seafood and Texas burritos are pretty good, and if you're looking for someplace in close proximity to the hospital I struggle to think of anywhere you could do better for a dine-in experience. I forget the goofy name they have for it but the big blue margarita is worth a try. The saving grace of this place is that it's got no real competition nearby, but I can think of a few Mexican restaurants within 5 to 10 miles that offer more memorable meals."

"I used to love this place. Not anymore. Thought I would try one more time tonight. 2-6-24. The food was terrible, even the cheese we order to go with out free chips tasted old. That’s the only way I can describe. Seemed old and my shrimp burrito was shrimp in a soft tortilla with sauce . Nothing I couldn’t throw together at home. It was not good at all. Service was just ok. Unfortunately we won’t be going back."

"Dined here at around 3:00 pm on a Saturday. Hardly anybody was dining there. Hadn?t been there since pre-COVID. Service was as bad as it always is. Took forever for a waitress to come to our table. Then I ordered a drink and, since we were seated in frontof the bar, I could tell the bartender was never aware of the bar order. Then our waitress told us someone else took my drink?Our entrees, which were just a Caesar salad and pulled pork sandwich, took a good hour to come out when there was no one in theplace. Lame, lame service. I can see why we never come here and don?t plan to be back again. Not sure what the problem is butthis Covington location has always been bad since I first dined here in 2017."

"Surf and Turf Burger..WTH!! I mean wow, I was visiting a client in the market and he took me here to watch MNF. He recommended this burger and I went for it.
