"My husband and I have loved Heidelberg for years, it’s our go-to spot. So we immediately knew we wanted Heidelberg to make our wedding cake when we got engaged! Cake tasting was so fun — the wedding cake coordinator recommended some traditional ones and a unique one. I gave her an inspo photo, and next thing I know, that exact cake was at our reception. It was absolutely beautiful and so tasty. We plan to order a mini version each year for our anniversary. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We have eaten there multiple times over past three years. Granted big game weekend and we have waited 60+ minutes for a table before. Last night (430pm actually) they said they were packed, again understandable, but several people kept coming up to hostess saying “we have reservations”, which was odd as they don’t accept. When we asked hostess she said “well we make exceptions”, then we were told they were holding additional walk-ups for an hour until they could assess evening, after which time another family came up and said “we have a reservation” and sat right down. Maybe there was an event, but hostess should be better prepared to handle as turned a bunch of folks off or explain how you get on the elusive “exception” list. Hope we don’t experience this again in future as will then certainly explore other local venues."

"The best wedding cake I've ever had! We were fortunate to discover Konditor through our wedding venue, which partners with them. We tried cake tastings at a few other bakeries, but nothing compared to the deliciousness of Konditor! They offered a wide range of flavors, from simple to truly unique. We opted for a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and a marble cake filled with Kahlua, which has a delightful mocha and chocolate coffee flavor. The tasting experience was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I was so eager for our wedding to come so I could savor our cake again. I'm quite particular when it comes to cake, and I really didn't enjoy the offerings from the other bakeries we visited; I didn’t want a basic cake with just vanilla and frosting. Words can't express how incredible their cake is—I'd happily drive an hour and a half just to have it again! Thank you, Konditor!"

"My husband and I got our wedding cake from Bredenbeck’s Bakery; our cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. At our tasting, we were given a variety of flavors to try. They did such a great job listening to what we wanted for our design. When I saw it on the day of the wedding, I was in awe of how they took my vision and made it real. Our guest loved the cake and thought it was just as delicious as we did during our tasting! Along with getting our wedding cake there, we always made sure to stop by the bakery when we were in Chestnut Hill to deal with wedding planning. All of the desserts and ice cream are delicious. My favorite is their fruit tarts. It is a must stop shop in Chestnut Hill for a sweet treat."

"Horrible service! They admitted to having several issues that night due to having a sold-out show playing at the venue. We never received our bread or salads; however the cheese board our meals were delicious on-time. We had asked for a glasses of wine never received them, but were charged for them on the bill. Also never received water refills either. Our bill ended up getting discounted we eventually did get our salads AFTER our meal our glasses of wine AFTER we told them we had already paid for them. There also seemed to be an issue with not having enough drink menus when we first got there which I thought was odd because alcohol is where you make your money. If this restaurant could get its service act together it would be a top-notch place. Food was excellent. Never got a chance to try to the desserts we were too afraid we wouldn't get them in time to get to the show."
