"Now, onto the food. I'm usually easy to please when it comes to meals, but this experience left me disappointed. The milk gravy was watery, the scrambled eggs were overcooked, and the bacon was excessively crispy. Both sausage varieties were equally overdone. There was also a strange tomato soup gravy meant for the biscuits, but I couldn't understand why anyone would want that—it was unpleasant. The hash browns resembled a greasy blob that was hard to enjoy. The pancakes and French toast strips were passable, but everything else was barely warm, nearing cold.
The only highlight of the buffet was the grits, which were thick and served hot. Unfortunately, all of this mediocre food came to about $12.95 each, plus tax and tip. As I mentioned, I'm not hard to please, but this meal was simply not good. I gave it 2 stars solely because of the attentive service from our waitress. We won't be returning."
