"The food was fantastic. Our friends spit a seafood paella which looked wonderful and they claimed was delicious. My wife and I had tapas. We shared the calamari, eggplant satin, and cuban pork wrap. All especially the eggplant were excellent. The dipping sauce for the bread was also really good. Olive oil with cilantro, basil, mint, green onions, garlic We set outside in the shade, the service was on top of things without being obtrusive. A very light buzz around us so we had way conversation among the four of us"

"Tried to stop in this morning to pick up a dessert for my Rabbi nephew and his family. They made my wife stand outside because the counter person was in the middle of an order. There was an owner? and another employee there. They did not let my wife in and when she asked about desserts they said what do you want she did not know and wanted to see some. Someone brought her a few to look at while she stayed outside. What a joke! This place is only open because they are Kosher an observant -people put up with it otherwise they would have been gone years ago!"

"Do you know when something is so divine and delicious that it makes you angry from lacking the ability to comprehend how it all could possibly in this universe taste so good? That’s how I am leaving this restaurant today. Came here on a date with my lovely wife and this place went beyond our expectations. I got the Cod Shrimp Muqueca and she got the Shrimp Bobó, along with a side of rice and mocotó. If you love seafood this place is a an absolute must. Although seafood dishes are their specialty, they also have other Brazilian dishes. It reminds me a lot of Southern European cuisine (Spanish and Portuguese food). I can’t recommend enough."

"we asked for it because it was a bit cold, despite us that they still sat outside. eating was pretty good. our server gave more attention to the other table that is no deal breaker. it looked as if she served a single guy and must have been alone, so he understandably got a little more attention; again we got it, we were both single once. we went back to try to have a better experience because eating was so good; they were closed. we will now taste the restaurant gaskins rd."

"I visited Grand Casino with some friends on a whim, drawn in by their spacious outdoor seating area, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise! We had initially planned on just having a beer, but the happy hour food specials sounded too tempting to resist. We ordered sweet potato fries, a cheese and meat platter, and an empanada. Everything was delicious and offered at excellent prices during happy hour, but honestly, their regular menu doesn't seem too pricey either. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, managing to keep up with the crowd as it got busier. Whether it's during happy hour or not, this place seems like a fantastic spot for enjoying Argentinian cuisine. I’m already looking forward to returning to try some goodies from the bakery next time!"

"Great little spot for lunch! My friend and I decided to take a break from the heat the other day, and we were pleasantly surprised. "A very unassuming place visually but some of the best sandwiches any of the 3 if us have had in a looong time. The BLT must have had 1/4# of bacon on it and talk about crispy! Perfect! The pressed Rueben was so good that a man with a normally small appetite wolfed down the whole thing. And my pressed turkey cheese sandwich vanished in record time! The place takes credit cards but there's a fee so we opted to pay cash. We'll be back for lunch the next time we come to the new quilt shop. Yum!!"

"I attended a birthday party with girlfriends here, and things were definitely a hit or miss. The chicken empandas were dry, and the dough was thick, but the dip was delicious. We all ordered different entrées and shared in tasting...ALL the crepes were good. The hamburger was my favorite. The Hawaiian mimosa was excellent! Cashing out was discombobulated. I got my check, paid with gratuity due to the party size, and I gave an additional tip....then the waitress came around as we were leaving because she forgot to add food onto some tickets, including mine, with gratuity on the 2nd tickets as well. That's NOT cool. Gratitude should be waived when you forget."

"Our first night in Highlands had us wandering around aimlessly looking for places to eat that had something for all of our cravings. My daughter wanted pasta, I wanted fish, my husband, steak. Wild Thyme popped up ét voila all our needs were met. Delicious cocktails and excellent service married with freshly made, hot cuisine. All three of us polished our plates. Which almost never happens. There is always a to-go box in our future. Our server was a lovely lady who was working doubles because they are short staffed for the holidays but she still managed to smile and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She didn't miss a beat and I salute all staff front- and back-of-house, who created magic for all lucky enough to experience them. From what we're told they serve soups and salads for lunch so perhaps we'll be back before we head out. They were truly masterful at their craft."

"Although the service was good and the atmosphere ok in this BYOB steakhouse. I was disappointed with the meal. The Ceasar salad for two was mostly iceberg lettuce with a very garlic flavored dressing and tiny bits of tomato. The rib eye steak was ok but extra fatty. The sea bass special was bland.The side of broccoli had too much garlic and was mushy. Finally, I was very surprised this steakhouse does not have a pepper mill."

Smallish plates of inventive Colombian inspired tapas mostly hit but the service (other than the friendly Somm) was bumbling to inept for a restaurant in this price range. Quoted $35 corkage on the phone but charged $50. Ordered 6 items, sold 2 more to be sure we had enough to eat, then another server commented on our hefty order. Yummy but somewhat underwhelming experience overall."

"Hubby and I went to a cooking class. You need to check the website since I think they only have them one a month or so. The next one is April 30, which is an authentic Mexican theme. Our theme was march madness spread. The day of the class, March Madness was canceled for the season... but that didn 't stop us from creating an amazing spread of appetizers. We made Baked Chicken Wings (with a spicy crispy rub); Pizza Ring (like you see made on Delish); Crispy Goat Cheese Poppers with Honey Sauce; Puff Pastry Spinach Artichoke Pinwheels; BBQ Chicken Taquitos; and Beer Battered Buffalo Cauliflower. It was quite an ambitious evening, but Maya, Niko and all their helpers made it a pleasure! Maya loves that we all have a good time at these classes. I loved the fact that hubby and I could actually make a few of these at home sometime. (Others could probably do them all) There was plenty of hand washing to make us all feel comfortable as well. At the end of the evening we sat down to eat our creations. By that time, I could hardly eat, since Maya also provides food and drink to nibble as we cook. But it was all delicious. We took everything we made home, so today hubby and I had a great lunch and still have mucho leftovers! All in all it was a fun activity... I will do it again!"

"The service from all the staff was outstanding, though it's worth noting that there were only three parties seated at the time, including us. We started off with drinks, which were very good and strong. Instead of appetizers, we went straight to dinner, which included a delicious and satisfying pre-dinner dish. When our hefty main course arrived, we realized we couldn't eat much of it. We had ordered the dinner for two, which included three different kinds of rice and three types of meat. For dessert, the choices were displayed on a tray for us to select from, rather than a standard handheld menu. Check out all the pictures!"
