"My wife and I were staying at the hotel for a conference. We had eaten in the bar across from the restaurant, which serves a reduced menu from Swank Swine. We thought that we would give them a try since we enjoyed the snacks in the bar I found the wine per glass prices a little high for the quality of wine being served. I enjoyed a Rosé from the Willamette Valley (OR). Having had many wines from this region, I found for a glass a little steep. Not sure why. The wine was marvelous, though. My wife enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay I believe from California. It was more in a realistic price range for wine We had no appetizers this evening...went from wine into dinner. We shared a baby gem salad that was perfect. Think of a fancy, more delicate Caesar. We loved it !! My wife was not too hungry so she ordered the roasted carrots. These were awesome !! Baby carrots roasted with some citrus and spice. I had the flat iron steak with a wine reduction, grilled onion, and a cheddar gratin. The steak was cooked perfectly; medium-rare, as requested Our waiter was great...as was the staff. We would most definitely go back and eat there again."
