OpenTable should not allow me to make reservations for restaurants that do not use OpenTable...Duh! If I have to call the restaurant to confirm my open table reservation, I might as well not even use open table. Please fix."

"Crest Cafe is a cute little diner in Hillcrest gayborhood of San Diego. I will admit it was my second choice after my first had a long weight, but still being a little sick, I was pleased with the comfort food provided. On a Sunday night, it looked like they only had one staff member on the floor. So, it took him some time to attend to all the customers, but he was very nice. I was not in a hurry. The menu has a lot of options, as any good diner would, but I had zeroed in on the “Not Your Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie” before I even arrived. So, that is what I ordered with coffee and a water. The pot pie came with a salad, which was well made, and the basil vinaigrette I chose was very good. The pot pie lived up to the name with a pretty spicy white wine sauce and red bell peppers to give you kind if a chicken mushroom soup base. The crust was flakey and delicious. I cleaned my plate."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Great view and nice decor. The food was on the higher side for the quality that we got. Neither one of us were blown away at the dishes, seemed like a standard meal at average restaurant. We didn’t order steak, so maybe that would have been different. I ordered a vegetarian dish and my husband ordered fish. The vegetables were basic, the fish was okay and the portabello was okay. The appetizer was decent but we didn’t want anything spicy, so the server told us it wasn’t but then it was served with chili flakes on it. Seemed like a nice family vibe in there, but because of the quality of food for the money, we won’t be returning. Lovely atmosphere though and the severs were very nice."

"My spouse and I chose to dine at Popovers for our wedding anniversary after seeing a post about it. To our surprise, they were out of popovers. We were dining early on a Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. At first, we were informed that the popovers were in the oven and that we might or might not receive one as an appetizer. An hour later, when we inquired again, we were told that an employee had left the day before, causing the shortage. Unfortunately, we never received the popover we ordered as an appetizer or the one we wanted for dessert. The waitress showed little sympathy towards our disappointment. We have decided not to return to Popovers. Overall, we were extremely let down by the experience."

"Stumbled across this gem randomly when plans changed, and thank goodness I did! Style and decor was eclectic and personally gave me a unique urban-type feel. Friendly staff, their cocktails unique and refreshing, and for my first time having chicken waffles, did not disappoint one bit! Portion size was off the charts, I could?ve definitely it : Ended the night with bread pudding, and man oh man, was it delectable! Definitely coming back if I?m ever in the area again!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"Heather was absolutely fantastic! We celebrated our anniversary together for the first time, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. "My friend and I were with The Tulip last night. We were often and it is always a wonderful experience. Not shown, we always start with the Sausage Crostini and keep the side of marinara it comes to immerse your bread in it! I had a salad and the shells that were in a garlic-wine sauce that I would have drank out of the bowl if we were not in the public. My friend had the bone pork chop with a bourbon glaze over smoked Gouda grooms and green beans. Everything was perfectly cooked and our server was professional and experienced in fine restaurants. We love it here because the food is as good as any fine restaurants, but the atmosphere is more like a quarter of bistro. Definitely recommend!"

"In town for a show at Proctors. From out of state NJ. We had the special fish Halibut, fingerling potatoes, asparagus, lemon caper sauce. Lots of capers which was delightful. Halibut cooked to perfection absolutely delicious. Well done Chef. Priced just a wee bit high however the quality deemed this price acceptable for us. Not in Schenectady often however when in town next, will happily go to Daley's again want to try the French Onion Soup w/braised short rib (inside the soup I think) sounds wonderful. Our waiter David was polite, professional, and friendly very glad we took him up on the fish special suggestion and would take his recommendation again. Thank you!"

"A bit pricey but everything tastes great while looking out at a million dollar view. The lobster pasta is a $37 dish but the taste justifies the cost. Same goes for the lamb appetizer. Decent fried calamari. Really enjoyed the steak dip and chips in a mini pan even the pepperoni and sausage pizza wasn't bad. All served with a back drop of an amazing view of the ocean. I do wish they would top off your ice tea or the kid's soda without a double charge. You feel like you're getting nickle and dimed when you spend $40 on a dish but have to pay $3 extra for every drink refill. Despite this little annoying practice, I really enjoyed my experience here."

"I had dinner last night and the service was outstanding. The manager greeted everyone as they entered and made rounds to check on guests, clearly enjoying her role. With 30 years in the food service industry, I tend to notice things that others might not, and I was impressed by the friendly and considerate demeanor of the staff, including the runner. Our waiter was exceptional. If I could give 6 stars for the overall atmosphere of service from start to finish, I absolutely would. Kudos to this Texas Roadhouse for a fantastic experience all around. Food: 5 stars, Service: 5 stars, Atmosphere: 5 stars."

"My favorite restaurant. Members of my family eat at Rockfish 2-3 times a month and have for years. We have celebrated special occasions with big groups and I have often gedimt alone. I never had a bad meal or a bad service. In my opinion, they have the best margaritas in the city (I should know) and great happy hour price. This alone is worth the journey!! Food is not fantastic or particularly innovative, but it is always hot and tasty. Its affordability is a reason why we go there so often. If you didn't try, please. None of us want to lose this jewel."

"However, when I cut into it, my first slice was nothing but fat. I moved to the center for a bite of the nice pink meat, but I was let down. While the steak was tender, it was completely devoid of flavor. I tried several more pieces, but they all yielded the same disappointing result: a tender steak that lacked taste. The French fries were also a letdown, being soggy and lacking crispness. On a brighter note, the beer was excellent—ice cold, fresh, and full of flavor. I thought about giving the meal two stars since the salad and beer were good, but in the end, I couldn't overlook the poor quality of the steak. I won't be returning for another meal."

"My husband and I have eaten at Serena on more than one occasion so we were very disappointed with our dining experience on Saturday evening. We arrived around 8pm to a nearly empty restaurant and after being shown to our table we were handed a sheet of paper explaining why pizza was no longer available i.e. the oven was broken. Our server took our order after we also were told about some of the menu items that were no longer available aside from the pizza. The bread that should have been served with our calamari arrived quit a while later but only after my second request. The calamari was tough, had too much greasy batter and was mainly a platter of tentacles. Very disappointing. Having had the Sicilian wheeled sausage on a previous occasion we thought we couldn't go wrong with it again. However, it was not the same quality as on our previous visit. To make matters worse our red wine, a bar Cab of a decent quality, was served very warm far above room temperature. Overall our dining experience was beyond disappointing. We trust that the owner will be able to return the restaurant to it's previous high quality and correct the oven situation. It was nice to have such a high quality Sicilian Restaurant in our neighborhood. Right now the outlook appears dismal."

"Food was delicious and portions are generous. We each had the pasta garlic, pecorino and Pepe, super flavorful just a touch oily. We each had leftovers and can't wait to enjoy tomorrow. Excellent wine menu, Pinnocoli Primitivo was superb, went well with the meal. The service was attentive even during the back up in the kitchen but it would have been nice to be offered a free glass of wine or a bread basket. Will definitely be visiting again on next visit."

"I ordered the Alaska fish and chips. It sounded appealing, but the fried fish was tough and overcooked. The batter was greasy because it was cooked at too low a temperature. The fries had no flavor at all. My wife tried the cloaked and welse, but the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. Overall, there was very little taste to the meal. It was a disappointing dining experience given the high prices. I wouldn't recommend this place."
