"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as stated and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"(2018) Overrated and overpriced. Our first dish scallop came cold. Charged $17 for a large sake, but what really came up was a small bottle. (2022) Had the chance to dine at the same restaurant the second time, unknowing that this was the same restaurants visited 4 years ago. This time it was a much better experience. Sat at the sushi bar. The California roll was very delicious (ordered one additional to go). Also enjoyed the grilled yellow tail and the short ribs. Sushi chefs were very friendly and responsive."
