"The food was good. Service was very slow and they were not that busy; maybe they want you to relax and enjoy the outside dining along the river (you can't see the river from your table). We were shocked to see that they charged for their filtered water; $1 a glass I think; when several in our group did not order water they offered to waive the charge which was very nice. I'm not sure if this is typical in Canada but we ate out every day and this was the only place that wanted to charge for water. We had to ask for bread for the table. Their homemade sourdough bread and butter were very good. I had the halibut cakes which were tasty. Again, the food was good, not great. Slow-paced service so keep that in mind if you are trying to get somewhere."
