"The egg roll was also impressive, having a homemade flavor that’s not often found in restaurants. Our main courses were quite good as well. I ordered General Tso's chicken, which was crispy, although the sauce had a bit more tang than I personally prefer. My wife chose the Singapore rice noodles, which were tasty, but I felt the dish had an unexpected taste reminiscent of chicken bouillon cubes. I’m not sure if that’s traditional for this dish, but it seems to be how they prepare it at Fun Asian Bistro.
My only real complaint was about the physical setting of the restaurant. You enter next to a nice atrium area full of windows, but those windows allow everyone walking in to see boxes and various supplies cluttered from floor to ceiling. That’s not exactly the best first impression. Inside, although there were a few nice decorations, the tile flooring felt straight out of the 1970s, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Perhaps that’s why we were the only customers there during our visit."
