"During my recent visit to the restaurant, I noticed some concerning behavior from our chef. Our server seemed to be aware of the situation as well, clearly observing the chef's unsteady movements. It was revealed to us that the chef was intoxicated, and when my wife brought this to the attention of the manager, they acknowledged the issue and offered to assign a new chef to our table. However, we declined as the chef was already preparing our food in a reckless manner, causing sauces to spill and mixing various meats together unsafely. Despite the manager's offer of a discount, the prepared steak, chicken, and shrimp were all burnt but not properly cooked. When I approached the manager to discuss the situation, they attempted to justify the chef's behavior to me and another patron whose family was dining with us. I was told to calm down and reassured that we would be taken care of, but I found it unacceptable that our families, including young children, were put at risk due to the intoxicated chef's negligence. Allowing a drunk individual to cook and serve customers is a poor business decision, regardless of staffing issues. I am a regular customer at this restaurant, and this experience was by far the worst I have ever had. Despite this disappointing incident, there is one exceptional chef at the restaurant who is knowledgeable, talented, and enjoyable to be served by – unfortunately, on this particular visit, we were served by a drunken and unprofessional individual."
