"The server we had was aloof and rigid. My friend did not want beans and instead asked for veggies, or even something as simple as some lettuce on the side. He said he would not do that and didn’t offer any other options except double the rice. Not even an up charge option. I also asked for a side of guacamole and the server said “we only offer table side guacamole”. What Mexican restaurant in San Diego doesn’t allow an option for a side of guacamole? I would have paid $2 $6 for a small side. Why is my only option for a little guacamole a $13 table side event? Either a poor choice on the part of management or a poor choice on the part of the server."

"Sea180, you’ve been my favorite restaurant for the past 10 years and I can’t believe you’re going to become TOASTED after the end of the month with a sushi joint Roponggi as an attachment. I’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, friendships, family dates, had professional meetings and so much more over the years there and I just want to take this time to say “thank you”! Thank you to the servers who always sat me and my peoples nearest the ocean and always made sure the heaters were near us if it was an evening meal! Thank you to the chefs who have graced the diners with their creativity! Thank you for the breakfasts, brunches and lunches! Thank you for the hard-to-replicate-at-home roasted Brussels sprouts dinner appetizer! Thank you for the memories, the salty sea sprays and the Pier South Resort for the luxurious getaways… There’s no restaurant like you with the beautiful view… you are imperial just like our beach … you will be missed."

"Food: The table-side guacamole was a highlight, allowing us to customize it to our preferences and dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the chips seemed to be store-bought, which detracted from the overall flavor experience. Homemade chips would have significantly elevated the dish. Service: Our server was polite but seemed to lack knowledge about the ingredients and preparation of the dishes. At times, it felt like we were testing his patience. Atmosphere: The noise level increased as the evening progressed, making it difficult to have a conversation."
