"we had a family event on 12/15. that was our first experience with sankranti. it was excellent - some of the best Indian food we had in atlanta. we're coming back. I also learned that they have a beautiful banquet place that can hold up to 400 guests. that is huge, especially in the area of alpharetta, which is very competitive for large spaces. my firma always searches for space for 300 and it is a challenge. I was told they offer other kitchen in the banquet area, but I personally would keep an influential Indian."

"This is a nice spot to see the sunset, I was at the bar because the dining was full. The bar area I would say is the best seating for the sunset. Dining is all outdoor but is shaded. I got the smoked meal with choice of two meats. I got the pulledpork chicken with two side collard greens and red beans and rice. The food was good but I was expecting a little more smokeflavor on the meats. That?s why I give it 4 stars. Fun atmosphere with live music, friendly staff. The red beans and rice wasreally good as a side the seasoning was tasty. Change my mind, two 5 stars. Very friendly people here."

"We went for the BBQ combo for $60, thinking it would be good since this was supposed to be a barbecue place. The hot link sausage was dry, the pulled pork and pork ribs were tender but flavorless, and the brisket was also flavorless (they didn't dry-rub, salt or brine the meat before they cooked! That's Cooking 101! . The other crazy thing was that they drizzled a thin zigzag of barbecue sauce over the platter. It looked good, but for meat with no dry rub on it, the barbecue sauce was the only salvation of flavor, and they skimped on it. We got the bottle of BBQ sauce after we asked for it. They also didn't have any nonspicy corn bread left. Jalepeno corn bread was good, but the kids wouldn't eat it. The jalepeno Mac and Cheese was the only thing that saved the review from 1 star."
