"Although fun, I wouldn 't say their best efforts are put into food. I 've visited this restaurant a few times. I can 't say I am in love with the place, but I do enjoy the theme that they proudly dish out. I would often bring friends to Hooters for their first time, just to say that they had gone, but there is not much to say otherwise. It 's a bar, but also contains booths and tables for bigger groups and families. It 's quite spacious, but I don 't think I 've ever seen it at full capacity. The staff have always been extremely friendly and polite. They initiate conversation and sit down at times to have a quick chat. They are good about getting you set at a table and taking down your orders as quickly as possible. In the times that I have been there, they had complimented me on my appearance, which was always a nice note to add to my night 's symphony. The food, however, does not compare to their quality in service. I had the fish tacos, and I was unable to finish it. It was greasy, and felt like all they had done to prepare it was toss it into a fryer. I actually think that the majority of their food is served in that way, or at least is appears to be so. The Shrimp tacos, on the other hand, were actually very delicious. The pricing is to be expected from a bar/restaurant. I think this place is more known for it 's gimmick than it is sought out for it 's food. That being said, I would advice the sports lovers of the Taylor area, who want to drink a beer and not so slyly glimpse at some off-limit menu items, to come and visit Hooters. Personally, I would go on dates and bring friends here just to spice up the evening, and when it comes to spicing things up, Hooters definitely delivers."
