"I’ve been to Rio Azul numerous times. Even twice in a row nights on my bachelor party back in 2019. Tonight pales in comparison to past experience. We were not approached for 20 minutes (literally). We ordered everything at once just because we didn’t want it to take any longer. We ordered 2 margaritas and a modelo draft. We got overly sweet and sour margaritas which I couldn’t taste any tequila and a bottled modelo. When the drinks were done we were never asked if we wanted another round (which we would’ve ordered beers instead). While waiting a very long time for a table touch or even our check we saw a table of 3 gentlemen get up and leave because they hadn’t been served except for chips and water. I had to ask the hostess if she could flag down my waitress because we wanted to lay and leave. The food wasn’t special like I remember. Just meh. Our reservation was at 7 and we didn’t leave until 845. Again, we only had 1 round of drinks. It was a disappointment and it used to be good. We always thought their food was better than Las Casuelas done the street. Maybe but anymore."

"I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this experience will leave an indelible mark in my mind. Service was horrendous and they brought out half the food 30 minutes earlier than the other half. Drinks were forgotten and other items had to be asked for multiple times. The food itself was decent but was overshadowed by bad service. As a former food service professional: look, I get it. Big parties are stressful and mistakes happen. I also recognize that December is a wild time for Palm Springs and that is also stressful. But I think the mistakes crossed the line for me and it came to a point where I felt like staff didn’t care about us. Please keep this in mind for future guests."

"We went for lunch at the Cha Cha Cha, we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. We ordered a variety often their street tacos which had generous protein as were served on corn tortillas, the meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection, their sauces were great and prices were reasonable to the area. Their outdoor seating was covered and had heating which is great for the colder months as well. We enjoyed the experience overall."

"My friend and I ordered gyoza for the appetizer and beef and chicken sukiyaki nabemono for the entrée. The fried gyoza was very soggy instead of crispy. It was also extra salty. The sukiyaki comes with a bowl of white rice, which feels unnecessary because nabemono already includes vermicelli noodles (not a complaint but an observation). The soup is sweet. I have never had sweet stew before, so I was excited to try it, but now I know that it's not for me. My friend got the chicken sukiyaki, and she thought it was decent.The place was packed, so we were seated at the bar. There are garages in the area and surprisingly they were all free so we parked in one of the garages."

"Where do I begin? I loved this place many years ago when it was beloved. Not so much when it was taken over in 2016. Today (after an 8 year hiatus) I strolled in. Really, really hard to walk back into a place where everybody knew your name. Server was fantastic and friendly. Salsa was as good as I remembered. Margarita was super sweet where you purse your lips and wince. Machine churned. My beef tostada suiza was super greasy with ? So I ate 1/4. The small-sized guacamole was indeed petite for the 3.00 one is charged. My side of refried beans was MEH. It arrived TEPID. The chips were stale and I noticed they were stacked one on top of each other in the server station -remember when they were served warm? Not anymore. I paid 32.00 for lunch. Not a beloved experience and certainly not what it used to be."

"I don’t think I’ve ever visited a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t serve chips and salsa until I went to Rio Azul for their "Grand Opening." I ordered the Carnitas, which were quite underwhelming. They came with three lukewarm flour tortillas and just enough onions, cilantro, and other toppings to make a decent taco. This dish was priced at $14. My partner chose a combination plate for $10.25, and I decided to add a small Albondigas soup for $4.25, which was incredibly bland, even the three tiny meatballs floating in the broth. They do offer a choice of fried beans, pinto beans, or black beans. Unfortunately, the black beans were nearly cold, which matched the overall decor. I won’t be giving them a second chance."

"Cha Cha Cha is one of my favorite restaurants in the city (San Francisco). Cha Cha Cha, in the Mission District (2327 Mission Street) is one of my colleagues and I’s go to restaurants for “celebrations, birthdays, holiday parties,” and so much more. Cha Cha Cha is able to comfortably sit groups as large as 15 20 and as small as 3 5 folks. They also take reservations and are extremely easy to work with and book tables. Yesterday, I went with my colleagues from and it was an amazing time. Any adult beverage connoisseurs MUST try their signature sangrias! The sangrias are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and come in a pitcher (they are definitely not stingy with the sangrias). Cha Cha Cha has two (2) other sister locations in the city on Haight and Connecticut streets. Now, let’s talk about the food!!! Cha Cha Cha provides traditional Caribbean cuisines with authentic seasoning, spices, and flavors. You can order small to large plates for lunch or dinner. They also have a large bar that stretches the length of the restaurant. My favorite thing to order is the WARM SPINACH SALAD (see pictures). It has spinach (of course), bacon, green onions, and a dijon mustard mix vinaigrette that is absolutely outstanding. Since I was with colleagues we ordered lots ”house signatures,” like their Cajun shrimp (the sauce is sooo good, you will lick the pan), plantains, oysters, mushrooms, and so much more. This is definitely a place that everyone should visit!"
