"Terrible experience overall. We had an 8pm reservation. The man who approached up was dressed so casually (track suit or similar) that I thought he was a bar patron, not an employee. We were seated quickly and out waiter greeted us in a timely fashion and we ordered drinks. After a long wait another server came over to take our drink order. We told her we already placed our drink order. “I’m going to be your server now and I don’t know what you like!’ “But we already ordered. “ “But I’m your new server and I don’t know what you like.” “Do you mean a food order?” “No I mean a drink order. I’m your server and I don’t know what you like.” So we ordered our drinks again. Then several minutes later the guy who took our initial drink order came back to our table without our drinks and asked if we were ready to order our food. Now exasperated I told him that someone else said she was our server now and took our drink order again and recommended he go talk to her. Then I added that we would just have our drinks and then go elsewhere. After another 10 minute wait with no drinks in sight, we walked out. It was like an alternate universe in there. There was one other new table in our half of the restaurant and about five tables that were already eating. There were many open tables. It was not even remotely busy for a Saturday night at 8pm. Had been there once when they first opened and I liked it. Only upside to the entire experience is that in our rush to leave my boyfriend left his phone on the table. We did not realize this until much later that night when we got home. To my amazement when he went back the next day they had it and gave it them. So there’s that. Went to Velo instead and had a lovely meal served by Andrew who made us forget the unpleasantness that had transpired."

"Amazing and lovely restaurant. We ordered take away but can’t wait to come back and sit down to dine with these amazing folks and this delicious food. I had to wait a bit for my food to take home to family but was entertained by a music man while waiting. I did come back and many times! This place never ever disappoints! I love to support the fine Ukrainian folks here as well as other nationalities that work here. The food is simply amazing and Anastasia is just the most professional, knowledgeable and attentive person. Saturday nights they have a great DJ and lots of loving people out for dining and dancing! So nice to have this in the 818 again but this place is even more special because of the chef, the staff and the ambiance."

I didn’t know nothing about this place until I got referred here by my friend and put my foot into the door of this restaurant. I can’t be thankful enough for the atmosphere and warmness From all the staff that has been participating in my party and party is not over, but I’ll tell you one thing people, if you’re confused or got to the point in this life that you don’t know what is the best way to go, honestly, come to 12 Chairs and I guarantee you will understand clearly what I’m trying to tell you about this place just go and see it for your self, bravo guys thank you so much for everything and God bless you!!!"

"traktir is a charming restaurant with delicious traditional Russian comfort food and a charming terrace. weekday midday specialties are a particularly good bargain, served with their choice of traditional brazen or salat. I started with a carafe dried fruit juice. it tastes like apricot honey and it is very refreshing. Five stars. the service is excellent and the server running on Russian. I have ordered on Russian, and I have a big smile from my server, my accent is quite bad. russians who are nostalgic for home will be thrilled and Russian food novices are encouraged to try something new. I ordered the scorching and it was amazing. this traditional suppe is full and tasteful. I recommend this restaurant, especially for the terrace on a sunny day."
