"I decided to stop by Taco Tavern to grab a quick dinner before seeing a movie at the nearby AMC. We ordered the Barnachos appetizer to share and I had three tacos: Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Shrimp. The nachos came loaded with tons of toppings and were delicious. For the tacos, I chose the carne asada based on a previous review, and it did not disappoint! In fact, all three were delicious, with lots of flavor, and the Carne Asada was my favorite. I would definitely order them again. I will say the individual tacos were a bit on the smaller side like previous reviewers mentioned, but the nacho portion was so large that it evened itself out. They were also having a happy hour when we were there, and my partner had a strawberry frozen margarita for only $7 and it was pretty good. Cute place, great atmosphere, and the staff was super nice too, with multiple people coming by to check on us to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely a hidden gem."
