"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We have expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"I decided to try this restaurant as a backup plan for my birthday dinner after my original choice fell through. I am actually glad that Plan A didn't work out because I discovered a new favorite Italian restaurant. The ambiance, service, and food were all top-notch - deserving of a 5-star rating. I enjoyed a tasty salad as my appetizer, but the French onion soup my companion ordered stole the show. It was one of the best soups I've ever had. For my main course, I had the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta, which was absolutely fantastic. Despite being too full for dessert, I will definitely be returning for the Tiramisu. The restaurant's location may be a bit tricky to find, but now that I know where it is, I highly recommend it and will certainly be back. The young woman who waited on us provided excellent service, as did the young man who brought out our food. Overall, the service was amazing. Our visit was on July 11, 2021."

"The host at this restaurant was extremely unwelcoming, showing rudeness and using inappropriate language. Despite having made a reservation, he expressed no interest in accommodating it. The wait staff was unpleasant and inattentive, giving off an attitude as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. The busboys were the only pleasant ones and should have been serving customers instead. We were given dirty wine glasses with lipstick on them and when we asked for clean ones, we were told there were none available and had to wait. They even neglected to serve us bread. We overheard the host telling a waitress to not bother with birthday celebrations and focus on getting customers out of their tables. This experience was so negative that we will never return to this establishment. We would rather support homeless individuals who are more appreciative."

"I called the restaurant on Wednesday this week looking for a venue for my son's graduation party. I spoke with the owner, who guided me on accessing their website. To make a long story short, I went to the restaurant, met with her, and we decided on a menu together right then and there. She was incredibly accommodating, even ordering a cake for us and creating a personalized menu for our group of 24. On the day of the event, we arrived 15 minutes early, and everything exceeded my expectations. The service was fantastic; the owner checked in with us several times to ensure everything was going smoothly, and the food was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and most importantly, my son had a great time. Originally, we had planned to go elsewhere, but in the end, I was much happier that it didn’t work out."

"This use to be my favorite pizza place after switching from vito 's due to the garlic parmesan crust. The uber eats system does not allow you to add this option, and the only way to contact bayview is to write it in the instructions. They will decide if you receive it or not. I enjoyed them for a little over a year, but my last 3 orders; averaging about $40 have been way below standard. I rated them at a 10 when I first started ordering, but due to receiving soggy pizzas that I ended up feeding to my dog throughout the week , unsecured boxes that looked like my uber driver was mangling my food, and drinking my sauce, in deciding to go back to Vito 's Pizza. You are only allowed to pick 1 topping on uber eats. The pizza use to be great. I did notice the quality decreasing over the past year. I took into consideration that I just ordered when their best pizza maker was off, but after my last three orders, I feel they have an inexperienced pizza maker, and whoever was there when I first started ordering; is no longer their.Maybe I 'll order in a year from now, but I 'm switching back to Vito 's in the mean time. For now bayview....c 'est la vie"

"Neighbors keep reccommending this place so ive tried 3 times already and been disappointed every time. Twice ive gotten surprise pork in my meals- once on a shrimp scampi pizza that they used sausage instead of shrimp, and more recently in the Pasta et Fagioli soup, which is very very often vegetarian. The menu says only that it 's an Italian Pasta and Bean soup, so was not expecting bacon. With the mistake pizza i was given the proper replacement, but no comp. With the soup, not even an apology. The food ive gotten that was correct has just been ok. Luigi 's in Neptune, Serpico 's in Allenhurst, and Rizzo 's in Ocean are all far superior in quality and in customer service."

"Our reservation was set for 5:15 and we arrived at 5:15 and were sat immediately and a very nice table outside. We had plans to see a show at 7:30 at a venue nearby and decided to get dinner before at Mimmo’s. We had planned to leave the restaurant around 7:00, which allowed 1 hour 45 mins for our dining experience. We did not receive our main course until 6:50, and didn’t even get to enjoy it before having to rush out to make our event. Service was poor and there were miscommunications with the staff regarding bringing us our check and to-go boxes in a timely manner, since we no longer had time to enjoy our meal. Despite the poor service, the food was excellent when it was enjoyed at home after our event. This was our first time at Mimmo’s and I am sad to say I would not come back again. The food and atmosphere were great, but the cost and slow service do not make this place worth the price or the trip."

"The stuffed pizza is amazing- that crust is so crisp on the outside and so perfectly soft on the inside. They have a bit too many fried food options so if you're a foodie you won't find anything new or interesting. But the menu is vast, reasonably priced and the entrees are decent. If you like Italian, the pastas are great, too. I tend to always order the blackened chicken fingers which is an appetizer and amazing. They have a decent won't list, and a great shop to buy wines to go, but I've ordered a few bottles of red that came to my table so warm it felt as though they were microwaved, but they were gracious in their handling of the situation. Great solid restaurant to visit. I come here often."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"My family of five had a fantastic meal here. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was pleased with their meals. I had the Eggplant Rollatini, and it was excellent—big enough for me to take home a second dinner. The Chicken Parmigiana was also superb. Our waiter was attentive, knowing it was our first visit and making sure we were well taken care of. Although the ambiance wasn't particularly impressive, I highly recommend this place. My 20 children enjoyed it just as much as my husband and I did. Give it a try!"

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"I've enjoyed takeout all through the pandemic and visited with my family to eat in last weekend. Father's Day, right before Juneteenth, and we were able to get a table for 5 without reservations for an impromptu dinner on the patio. Absolutely fantastic food, from our spinach dip appetizer to the lasagna, fettuccine, veggie pizza, and salad. Dillon was a GREAT server, very quick, great communication, and didn't bat an eye despite us all arriving at different times. He was quick to anticipate needs, brought out silverware and extra plates when he knew dishes were being shared, and overall made this a great experience. I knew the food here was delicious and fresh, and having such wonderful service made it that much better!"

"I absolutely love this restaurant! My go-to order is the cheese calzone with bacon, pepperoni, and pineapple. The owner is incredibly friendly, and when they told me my order would be ready in 30 minutes, it was a pleasant surprise to find it ready in just 4 minutes when I arrived. Not only was it piping hot, but it was also packed to the brim with all the toppings I requested. I can't recommend the paninis enough; they're incredibly delicious as well! If you find yourself in Middletown, this is the pizza place to visit. Plus, the calzone was only $11! I would rate this place a whopping 13 out of 10!"

"The atmosphere is cozy but no sound buffers so extremely loud when busy. We had the bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer which were delicious but in my opinion was barely a portion for 1 person let alone 2. My boyfriend had the manicotti which is probably one of the best i ever tasted with full flavor... definitely recommend this. I had the fettuccine alfredo with Chicken and also added mushrooms and broccoli. The ratio of everything was good except for the creamy Alfredo sauce that fell short in quantity and quality which was very bland without the rich buttery and creamy flavor that i was expecting. Maybe if there is a next time i will try asking for an extra side of sauce and if the chef could make it extra rich. We shared the gooey butter cake dessert which i will say was good and better then a lot of places in town."
