"I travel all over the country for work Monday through Thursday. The fortunate part of my job is trying all of the great restaurants along the way. I stopped at the Old Route 66 Family restaurant on my way from Chicago to Springfield. The servicewas great, the fresh ham and bean soup was a treat. I ordered the ham steak (which was HUGE) that also came with two side, andto my surprise, a dessert as well. I chose the peach pie which was reminiscent of my grandmother?s homemade peach pie fromPennsylvania. I highly recommend this place."

"I ordered delivery from this restaurant and ended up waiting nearly 2 hours for my hot dog, fries, sandwich with mashed potatoes, and empanadas. Unfortunately, the hot dog arrived cold, the fries were soggy, and the roast beef sandwich was severely overcooked. The mashed potatoes were clearly boxed and fake, while the empanadas were minuscule and cold. To top it off, they initially tried to charge me $40 when the correct total was $27. When I called the manager, he acknowledged the mistake but made no effort to address the long wait time or the poor quality of the food. This lack of customer service is a surefire way to lose business. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a meal."

"Capitol is a decent destination for drinks in Bloomsburg. I can't comment on the food, because I haven't eaten any food from here in a very long time. But the drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced, and they have a fair beer selection. Late night and during certain collegiate celebrations, it becomes quite packed and the atmosphere becomes more like a club, with a big dance floor, loud music, etc. So if that's your jam, hit it up, you won't be disappointed. If it's around the end of the Bloom U semester and you're just looking for a quiet drink, I would perhaps recommend a different establishment."

"The restaurant is quite nice and appears clean. The staff is quick to prepare your food. However, the standout feature should be the coffee, as it is marketed as a café. The quality of the coffee seems to depend on who is behind the counter. When the Latino guy was working at the register, the Colombian coffee and espresso were excellent, but the next day it was a waste of money. The older gentleman at the deli may come across as unapproachable, but he is actually what keeps this place going, and I’ve come to appreciate him. I ended up spending an entire week visiting for breakfast or brunch."

"There is something special about the bagels on Long Island - they are the best. I traveled all the way from Mt. Vernon just to get a bagel from here. Well, my wife works in Jericho, but still, we made the trip. Plus, there were no children causing a commotion in the store today. I highly recommend supporting this place if you can. Stay safe."

"Appetizer and sandwich was good. Fish was fair. Waitress was pleasant attentive. Restaurant is very noisy and loud. Was difficult to communicate with waitress and took her a while to be sure she heard our order correctly. Our issue is with our bill. The bill cam with a $1.55 surcharge added. We were not alerted to this prior to the bill being presented. Needing to get to our next stop before that store closed in less than one hour, we decided not to question the surcharge as we would have liked to. Our total bill was $59.37. We placed a $100 bill onto the tray and the waitress picked up the tray to process our payment. When she returned the tray, she said thank you and left the table. We took the tray to collect our change and found she brought us $40 even. Our change due was to be $40.63. Now on top of the $1.55 surcharge, where is our $0.63? We looked around and did not see our waitress. Once again, fighting the clock to get to our next stop before they closed, we decided we had to let it go. Needless to say, we were not very happy about all that transpired when it came time to pay our bill. We still left the waitress her full tip, as we felt the surcharge was not her fault. Though we do think that even if she was not the person to make the change for our bill, she should have at least checked the change to confirm it was correct. Needless to say, we don't plan on dining there again."

"Fantastic Pizza sad to see them close!The 1 star Review is to warn potential folks looking to get their last pie that when they say, It 'll be ready in 45 minutes means that it 'll be ready when it 's ready and asking when that is when you arrive in 45 minutes will lead to nothing. After wasting 25 minutes in a line of folks in similar circumstance we called it. Shame we won 't get one last pie but time is worth more than pizza. To the guy that waited 45 minutes AFTER arriving at his 45 minute mark WE SALUTE YOU!"

"I should have known to leave when I saw that the restaurant was empty at 1 pm on a Friday. However, the service was good and the waitress was friendly. I decided to order breakfast for lunch. The pancakes and eggs were tasty, but the hashbrowns were bland and the corned beef hash on the side was unrecognizable and disgusting. I would not recommend trying their breakfast options."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and will most likely not return. I have been here a few times to pick up orders, and decided to try dining in by placing an advanced pick-up order. Despite scheduling a pick-up time 27 minutes in advance and arriving an hour later, my order was not ready. Instead of apologizing, the staff checked my receipt, went to the back, and made me wait an additional 25 minutes while they cooked my food. While mistakes can happen, the lack of acknowledgment of their error was disappointing. I had requested my food to be extra crispy, but it was not prepared as such due to them rushing to cook it. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience."

"First coffee shop I've experienced in New York City, and I have to say I was impressed! My hotel concierge recommended it, saying it's his favorite coffee nearby.I ordered their signature latte, the Fall Oat Boy, though I am not an oat milk gal and subbed whole milk. The latte was so smooth and flavorful--strong coffee taste, balanced level of sweetness, creative flavor that did not overpower the taste of the coffee. I sat here for several hours writing, enjoying the music and the vibes. It's definitely cute and they have a good upbeat playlist. Lots of seating, which was important to me since I knew I'd be holing up for a while. The baristas were friendly and helpful.My only complaint is the bathroom, which smelled somewhat atrocious and was kind of trashed. Other than that, I have to say I loved the place."

"This is a local gem (BYOB) and has many loyal diners on a regular basis. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant is small with a few private booths near the entrance then 2 dining rooms also used for private parties in the back. The food is excellent (generous portions), service is very attentive, and prices are quite reasonable. Ambiance is very casual. Plentiful parking, conveniently located on the Newtown Bypass, and close to Langhorne, Yardley and other towns."
