"The restaurant did not bring water promptly. I ordered a salad and my friend ordered fish. The fish was served 40 minutes after the salad was brought to the table. The fish was overcooked and bitter, and the salad was not fresh. The table was cleaned with a paper towel that also had the fork and knife placed on it. No one checked in to see if everything was okay. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant."

"I love these crepes. They are a really fun American take on crepes packed with goodness, these aren’t minimalist crepes. The crepes are a little expensive so I don’t have them often but I love taking people here. Great to take to Washington square park or further to the river to eat them since the sidewalk seating can be super busy."

"My first time trying this place.Stopped by here on Saturday night, there were about 4 customers visible on the line, not knowing any better we decided to wait, there was a little heated booth outside which was nice but what's up with having to wait Dam near over an hour for a crepe. The amount of delivery people that just come in and out was interesting to see. This place only has 2 people working and the line got really long about 5 to 7 people just gave up and left after waiting, anyway after we got in the place i could see that the main crepe maker was trying his best to manage the walk ins plus all the electronic orders. I ordered the famous crepe. Other than the wait, the crepe was tasty and fresh. I can't recommend going here on a Saturday night unless you don't mind waiting a long time."

"As first-time guests, we were completely amazed! The cashier was incredibly patient as we took our time with the menu. Another customer even praised the food's quality as they walked in. The prices were so reasonable that it felt like we had stepped back in time! We were astonished by how quickly our order was prepared. Most importantly, the food was absolutely mouthwatering—so fresh and of such high quality that it was hard to believe! The two lunch sandwiches were generously sized and offered incredible value for the price. My hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven whole wheat everything bagel with butter reminded me of a soft pretzel from an Amish bakery in Pennsylvania—truly delicious beyond words! It’s unfortunate that we previously drove past this deli and bakery without noticing it, but it’s a mistake we won't make again. This unassuming gem is definitely worth a stop! Excellent service and attentive staff are rare these days, but Bodo’s has it all!"

"I had the option of heading to the Starbucks next door, where the baked goods are pre-packaged and delivered from who knows where, or coming here, where the bagels were freshly baked just a few hours ago right on the premises. It's been ages since I've seen a bagel for just a dollar! I’m quite particular about my coffee, and I must say, it's fantastic here. Plus, the restaurant features a lovely shady patio that’s set back from the street, making it a pleasant spot to relax."

"The Norwegian meatball wrap and the Norwegian meatball plate are both absolutely delicious! The wrap makes for a perfect work lunch, especially when paired with Lingonberry Iced Tea. The plate is a fantastic option for dinner. Everything is nice and fresh; the goat cheese is creamy, the meatballs are seasoned to perfection, and the crunchy lettuce adds a delightful texture. This place has definitely become my new favorite!"
