"I really wanted to give this place a 5-star rating, but there were two things that prevented me from doing so. Firstly, when we visited on Father's Day 2022, despite there being plenty of available seats, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Our server, although great, was spread thin with too many tables to attend to, resulting in long waits between sitting down, placing orders, and receiving our check. This was not the fault of the server, as it seemed they were understaffed. Secondly, while the flavors of the dishes were present (we ordered the ultimate platter and wings), everything was overcooked. The wings and half chicken were dry and tough, while the brisket and ribs, although not as bad, were still overcooked by about 30%. The pulled pork was passable, but difficult to overcook. Despite this, had the food been cooked properly, it would have been one of the best BBQ meals I've had in a long time. The sauce was delicious, and the beer selection was excellent, with a variety of house brews. Even though the ribs were overcooked, they were still some of the best I've had in a while, showcasing amazing flavors. It seems like there may have been some issues behind the scenes that prevented us from experiencing the 5-star restaurant others rave about. We will definitely give it another try. Lastly, a suggestion for the restaurant - even if the food had been cooked correctly, there is room for improvement regarding the wings. The smoky flavor and seasoning were fantastic, but using cheap, small wings akin to those found in Chinese restaurants seemed out of place. It's like ordering a gourmet burger with premium toppings and discovering that the meat comes from frozen patties from a big-box store."
