"If you want a decadent dessert experience, stop looking, you found it. I have been going to Extraordinary Desserts for over 15 years, maybe more! I remember getting comfy in a booth in Hillcrest with my cousin and my sister, sharing a giant slice of chocolate cake as college students (we could only afford to share one slice then! Flash forward, I have ordered whole cakes for birthday celebrations, brought sliced selections to dinner parties and Bring all out of town guests here to taste the sweetness. While I usually prefer a chocolate dessert, these cakes are so rich and decadent that sometimes I prefer the vanilla cakes! TBH I usually get one of each ; The hardest part is deciding WHAT to get each time. I have yet to try one that I didn't care for, they are all 10/10. The Little Italy location has a nice selection of small plates as well...perfect for a sit down early dinner with the parents, or a later nosh session. Get the hot chocolate. You will be happy you did. The line will look long most days/nights, but it moves fast and is worth it. Pro Tip: Call ahead and snag one of the fruit topped scones early in the day. They are pure magic!"
