"The consommé de borrego (lamb stew) is really amazing! Super flavorful with a little heat, smoky chipotle, hominy, and bone-in lamb shank with a lot of meat. So delicious, and a large portion for 2. The gorditas are huge and packed with meat, thechicharrón prensando was excellent! Pick-up or delivery available on their website. Delivery was fast, and arrived sooner thanexpected. Humble place with excellent food. Tacos alambres are life changing, and they have a rotating selection of interestingguisado dishes, lamb stew, and more. They prepare everything to order, which means you're getting fresh food. Every time. Neverhad any issues after ordering a dozen times. Worth waiting a few minutes for, or call ahead and pick up. Pretty easy."

"Mother's day Brunch delicious and the service was great! What a wonderful selection of traditional brunch like crispy bacon and fluffy eggs, to a fun live-weapon station. We all loved the fantastic lobster Mac and cheese and roast beef and a heavenly chocolate cake. A big hit with our crowd of 8 Diners!"

"The lunch menu is creatively hand-written on the wall above the ordering area, making it easy to see your options. To reach the counter, you walk past a delightful display of house-made salads and sides. After placing your order, you can choose any available table or booth, and a friendly server will bring your food to you. I found my meal to be both tasty and satisfying. I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich paired with a broccoli salad. The sandwich was loaded with two or three kinds of cheese and juicy slices of ham. The broccoli salad was a pleasant surprise; it featured crunchy broccoli mixed with nuts (possibly walnuts), raisins, and a lightly sweet white dressing that I think was yogurt-based. I expected a savory dish, so this sweet twist was refreshing. On a subsequent visit for dinner, I tried the bruschetta chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables. Unlike lunch, dinner features table service, so you order your meal at the table. The bruschetta chicken was incredible—it was so flavorful that I could hardly focus on conversation with my dining companions, as I was completely absorbed in the taste of my dish. For dessert, the selection is limited to a few homemade treats that are prepared daily. We opted for the peanut butter and chocolate pie, which was impressive in its own right. It tasted like a rich, dense Reese’s cup but with even more chocolate. It’s become a treat I’m willing to drive the 50 miles to enjoy again. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to Gibby's and look forward to returning in the future."

"Seafood lovers will enjoy eating at this restaurant, but vegetarians and vegans may not understand why. Personally, I am not a fan of seafood restaurants where the vegetarian options are often expensive, lacking creativity, and have a hint of fishiness. I tried the kale salad, but some of it was discolored. I was dining with a group and did not choose the restaurant, but I would not recommend it to fellow vegetarians. There are a few salads that can be modified to be vegan-friendly, but with Green Elephant nearby, I would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not very enjoyable."

"We strolled in on a busy Sunday afternoon and were impressed! The Sugar Bowl is FANTASTIC. Why? It's simplicity and quick service. We ordered a patty melt, pancakes with eggs over easy and bacon. A simple, common breakfast and yet we were met with such hospitable service. Our coffee cups were never empty and our table was always attended! The ONLY downfall of this wonderful restaurant is their parking! Other than that, everything was impeccable! The Sugar Bowl is wonderfully placed should consider expanding because it is charming and presents wonderful and distinctive service!"

"Always friendly servers and huge plates of food. My oldest got chicken broccoli alfredo and said it was really good. Myself and 2 younger sons got breakfast. I was a little concerned about one of them because they ordered a buffalo chicken omelet not my idea of breakfast but he was thrilled and loved it."

"My father have lived in Franklin Park over 20 years and I live in the city. Every time my father buy tickets to take me and the kids to the monster truck show in Rosemont, we eat here first. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had! Super large for myself and family, I think I love the fact that it’s real authentic Italian pizza!!!! We love it here, so addicted! The owners are super nice! Food: 5"

"First time visiting Georges pizza and I was blown away by the flavors of the food. Meatball was amazing ! Garlic bread with cheese was a home run. Pizza was also very good. Crispy and not greasy. The only thing I didn’t like was the steak and cheese wrap. Stay was over cooked and they put lettuce inside de steak wrap. I only had a bite was not good. But definitely coming back to try more items from the menu. Price is reasonable you can sit down to eat or order to go."

"The first thing I opened was the fries. When I saw them, I could tell they were cold, and sure enough, when I took a bite, they were very cold. I was pretty disappointed, but since I had it delivered, I didn’t expect them to be piping hot, so I tried to let it slide. Next, I opened the chicken Caesar wrap. At first glance, it looked good, but when I took a bite, I found marinara sauce in it. If you know what a chicken Caesar wrap is, you'll agree that marinara does not belong in it. I was really confused about that. Then, I opened the cheesecake, and to my surprise, it was in a clear container. I quickly realized it was carrot cake instead of the cheesecake I had ordered. I was really upset because all I wanted was some cheesecake. When I finally got to the steak and cheese sandwich, it looked promising, but when I took a bite, it was freezing cold. At this point, I was extremely frustrated. The drinks were fine, but they were 2-liter bottles instead of the smaller ones I wanted. I didn’t get a chance to specify the size because they never asked. The only thing that turned out well was the chocolate cake—it was actually pretty good. Overall, I can't complain about that. However, I will never order from here again. This place is terrible, and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Thank you for ruining my birthday! (I would add a photo, but this is being written after we threw everything out, and I didn't want to dig it out again.)"

"I also had lunch for the first time recently, and it did not disappoint! They have an array of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a selection of drinks to enjoy with your meal. They even cater to vegetarians and have gluten-free options available. I enjoyed one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, and it was priced under $10! This place is just a wonderful little spot with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and incredibly reasonable prices. It can get quite busy on weekends, but I think it's worth the wait!"

"Food was good but a little over priced for small portions. I ordered the deluxe shrimp scampi which came with vegetables for $3 more and there were hardly any vegetables. However they have a fantastic dessert selection that they bring over on a plate to choose classic diner style. This is the most diner esque place I've found in Pittsfield that reminds me of the great diners in my home state of New Jersey."

"You might miss it, being tucked away between Arby's and Culver's; but in my opinion, this place is a hidden gem! I went there on a fluke because the line at Arby's was WAY too long and i didn't wanna wait 30 minutes in the drive-thru.The service is nice, the interior is VERY clean. The food is way better than I had expected. I am a little bothered that a combo meal gets you what I think is a small 12oz cup; but you get your money worth both in main dish and fries. The menu is fairly diverse too. Burgers, gyros, tenderloin, hotdogs... many others.I highly recommend you find your way to this tucked away restaurant"

"I would give it zero stars. The food quality has declined from very good to awful. The portions at the hot bar have shrunk significantly, going from a decent amount to barely anything. The cook seems to lack basic cooking skills. Prices have increased, and the menu has changed, resulting in the loss of some of our favorite dishes. It’s no longer a good value. I went from being a regular customer to not wanting to go back at all."

"Love this place hasn't changed in years wasn't that busy we went late. We got buffalo chicken app. Covered in buffalo sauce like you wouldn't believe..Soo good. For diner we both got chicken Parm he got ziti with his I got gnocchi it was a little over cooked. But the chicken made up for it. Was a little disappointed they didn't have clam chowder only fish chowder. (That night) usually great clam chowder... No thanks on fish chowder..so got salad instead cause you get to pick soup or salad. Salad was big...you really can't go wrong with this place. And thrust you will not go away hungry. Wait staff really nice too. Try it out if you have never been. This place is a relics..."

"The dressing was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but that's alright because I have my own Greek dressing at home. The salad had all the typical ingredients—romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and olives—everything you’d expect in a Greek salad. However, I was disappointed to find that it didn’t include feta cheese, which I consider essential for a proper Greek salad. It felt like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly; while it was fine without it, the feta is really the key ingredient. So, I felt a bit cheated having paid too much for what amounted to a basic house salad. **Service:** Takeout **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** $10–20 **Food Rating:** 2 **Service Rating:** 4 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3 **Recommended Dish:** Hot Dog"

"Favorite Restaurant in the area. Off the beaten path AWAY from Rte 9 and all the chain restaurants. They just remodeled the entire exterior area. They did a patio area and got rid of the grass where bugs and mosquitoes used to bite you up. The servers are very friendly. The food is always good. They have a smoker on premise, grown vegetables, vines on trellis, fresh herbs. New high top tables and chairs. Very well shaded so you?re not baking in the sun while you?re eating. They have smaller portions for their lunch menu. The interior is small, dark, and dated. A tiny bar area that is pretty popular with the locals for happy hour. It is right near the rail trail to take a before/after stroll. Believe the owner is a CIA grad. Family owned and ran. He has won best Asian wings several times. Definitely a must try. It is an eclectic American menu."

"We have consistently enjoyed our visits to Cinco de Mayo in Brentwood! It's always lively, particularly at dinner time, which is a great indication of its popularity. However, this busyness can occasionally lead to slower service. The servers are always friendly and welcoming. I'm particularly excited about the chips and salsa; their salsa is outstanding! You can really taste the freshness, and it has a delightful kick. I especially love their sopa de pollo (chicken soup, which some places might refer to as chicken tortilla soup)."

"Aitkin was our half way stop for my wife, granddaughter and I. We stayed at the club 40 Inn another review but we had breakfast here. My wife had 2 eggs hash browns and sausage patties, my granddaughter had a plate size pancake (she apologizes for spilling syrup on the table because she isn't used to a pancake that is slightly bigger than the plate) she asked if we could go there again... I had the 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, with a side of bacon it was definitely homemade and it was very delicious I was also surprised to see a restaurant that still serves 4 yes 4 pieces of bacon as a side DEFINITELY and I do mean DEFINITELY go here if you are in the area."
