"The waiter service at this restaurant was not very friendly. I found it extremely off-putting when things that fell on the table ended up in my food. Additionally, the prices for the food were quite high and the taste was subpar. For the same price, you can get twice as much food at other places. It's puzzling why a restaurant like this is located in the Texas Medical Center."

"I arrived at exactly 8:48 and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude clearly because she wanted to close earlier than she was supposed too. She kept asking if I had a problem because I asked for her name which she did not provide and she stated she was the manager when I asked to speak to one. Very rude simply because I walked in when she was counting the money closing her register 12 minutes before closing time. The lights to the dinjng room were off including the Open signs way before closing time to attempt to lure customers away. Very unprofessional."

"I'm disappointed to report that the number 9 was $12, which feels excessive. I understand we're in a COVID-affected economy with rising prices, but it just doesn't sit right with me! I recommend you check out Sandwich Spot across the street. Their sandwiches are also $12, but you definitely get more for your money. From now on, I'm officially done with Togos."

"So, At first I asked for the pretzel Rami from the gentleman with the beard and I guess they no longer sell it so I went with a regular hot pastrami. Got it home and it was a roast beef sandwich. The most frustrating part is I tried calling several timesand I got a message stating that they were too busy to answer the phone. Very frustrating especially for sandwich that wasalmost $13. And of course I said I didn't want a receipt! Based on previous reviews this seems to be a reoccurring theme!"

"Food is good but customer service sucks! I was skipped over for apparently a repeat customer. Not cool. Will not return! Treat all your customers with the same respect! And I left a tip beforehand, because you have to pay before. And no the customer did not order ahead online. He came up right behind me with the bag filled out! We are all in a hurry on lunch hour. If you want to show appreciation for loyal customers give him an extra cookie, free drink or something. Do not skip over a customer to benefit another. Just really messed up.Definitely will not return."

"I discovered this place while looking for an authentic falafel. While the exterior of the shop make it look more like a corner bodega and the interior looks like that of a run down take out joint the food is amazing.My falafel was packed and fresh and hot. I found a little foil wrap of pickles to go with my sandwich and one little extra. There was four full sized napkins in the bag. I know that sounds trivial but no one wants those cheap napkins that protect nothing and absorb less.I think this is a gem of a spot and you can tell it’s a neighborhood favorite give the folks constantly coming in and going out."

"I walked into the store at 7:05 on a Sunday night, not realizing that they close at seven. I think that there was a family finishing eating, so they had left the door unlocked. Even though they should have been closed, the assistant manager Ian waskind enough to make me a sandwich and not say anything at all. I only knew they were closed because All of the other employeesstarted to get ready to go home. I apologized profusely and offered to leave but he insisted that he make me a sandwich. I knowa lot of other places where they would have just told me that they were closed, but he went the extra mile and gave greatcustomer service. I really appreciate that. "I don’t go to Togo’s very often anymore because there’s some stiff sandwich competition out there (and no this does not include the always awful Subway). But Togo’s still has some of the best pastrami around, and so this chain is still relevant. I will be coming back to this location again more often because the staff here are very friendly and efficient."

"I visit this Togo's three times a month, but I've noticed the soda machine hasn't been working properly for quite a while. Recently, I stopped getting sodas and just stuck to sandwiches. Today, I decided to give the soda machine another shot. When I tried to fill my cup with Diet Coke, it had no carbonation. I asked the woman who seems to be the owner or manager for assistance. She went to the back and said she had changed the tank. However, when I tried again, it was still flat. She insisted it was fine, but I explained that I drink a lot of soda and could tell there was no carbonation. I asked if she could refund me for the soda and I would try again another time. She agreed and I followed her to the cash register, but then she mentioned that the soda was "free" with the Friday tuna special. I quietly said, "We both know nothing is truly free, and it seems you're not willing to refund me because technically I didn't pay for it. This doesn’t feel right, but I'm not going to argue over two dollars. I guess I'll just drive a bit further to the other Togo's in Milpitas or the one on Capital.""
