"I’ve never written a review before, but I often rely on them when ordering food, so here it goes… I tried the menu items at Great Wall, including chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, pepper steak, and garlic chicken. Unfortunately, the fried rice and sesame chicken were just average. The fried rice had an unusually dark brown color, almost as if a whole bottle of soy sauce had been used. Both the garlic chicken and pepper steak had an odd taste and texture. The meat looked pale, and the sauce seemed to settle at the bottom. I really wish I had taken pictures before tossing it in the trash. This was probably the worst Chinese food I've ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and skip Great Wall."

"On our way back from Legoland we stopped by for quick dinner and that was the only place nearby that was open that late on weekday. The food came pretty quick and the staffs were sweet as they were about to close and they let the kids finish their food. "This is truly the best Chinese food I've ever tasted. The flavors were perfectly balanced—neither too sweet nor too salty, and just the right texture. I was very pleased with my shrimp and broccoli with roasted rice flour, and the portion size was generous for the price. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for their lunch specials. You get great taste at an affordable price!"

"As this is the Covid Era of restaurant dining, the wife and I normally order takeout from their excellent mixed Asian menu. This time however, we decided to dine in and try the hibachi side of the restaurant. We arrived early, around 4:30pm and were seated by ourselves. There was already a large party of 8 at a nearby hibachi table and they looked like they were having a terrific time so we were excited to see what Canton Palace's Osaka Hibachi offered. There was a large selection of various steaks, vegetables and seafoods on the menu. The wife chose salmon and d allows and I chose shrimp and tenderloin. Although we were seated alone, we didn't have to wait long for our chef. Our waitress was very attentive and our chef did not disappoint. From an onion volcano to flipping shrimp through the air for us to catch in our mouths, our chef was fun and entertaining. The food was excellent and I have to day the tenderloin was the best I have ever eaten at any restaurant, hands down. My wife loved her salmon and scallops and the chef prepared all our portions exactly as we requested. My shrimp was also perfect and the fried rice was wonderful as well. We knew from our takeout experiences prior how good the food was, but to experience it on the restaurant and have it fresh was a treat. I can't recommend Canton palace enough, the traditional side and the hibachi side are both wonderful! Do your family and yourself a favor and the next time you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, stop by the Canton Palace!"

"This was a recommendation by my wife.We have not had very much luck with good Chinese food in Rochester. From the time we walked in I noticed that the atmosphere was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The menu has 15 pages of many delicious looking choices to choose from. My wife had a French Martini and it was very good and very strong. I just had water and tea which is what they start you out with when you sit down as well as the crunchy noodles and a nice full pot of tea.We got spare ribs for the appetizer. My wife had moo goo gai pan for her entree, and I had the beef lo mein. The food was so exquisite. Everything tasted great. I high recommended going here if you are in the mood for good Chinese food."

"We ordered delivery late at night around 9:30 PM. I usually avoid ordering at this hour because many Chinese restaurants tend to rush their service as they approach closing time, which often affects the quality of the food. However, HUNAN CHINESE exceeded my expectations! The food arrived hot and fresh. The sesame chicken was both crispy and flavorful, and the seafood delight was also impressively fresh!"

"the best Chinese restaurant in anchorage! there are many Chinese restaurants, but this is long here. that is to say, the owner and the personal know what they are doing. If they have dinner in the restaurant, then I suggest having a tsingtao beer with their meal. if they have a choice, they go sharp because it is not too spicy; there are only 3-5 small red paprika to add taste. if they order online, which is very simple, then they should expect 30-45 minutes, provided there is no road maintenance to slow down the delivery driver. every time I visit the personal, it's very polite. if I could request a thing, it would be that a dessert is added to the menu. "Ya know. The last time I was here was about 10 years ago went it was still Destiny Cafe 1. I love to support small businesses and like to recommend good places. This place was typical. Staff was nice and water refills was okay. Time for our food to come: 1 hour and about 20 minutes. Pho special: 3/10 Hot water, sliced meatballs, 3 pieces of tendon, cut up cilantro, some tripe. I wished there was some body to the broth. It was hot water. There is not enough hoisin and or sirracha to fix this. Bean spouts and basil was fresh, ish. Chicken wings: 7/10 Not bad. Didn't taste old. Kids enjoyed them. Eggrolls: 5/10. Stuffing was eh. Must be vegetarian because there was no meat. Spring rolls: 8/10 It was actually pretty good. Wrapper was fresh, veggies crisp. Meat and shrimp was good. Even the dipping sauce had a little burn to it. I liked it. Kudos! Kaopoon: 5/10 not enough juice to soak up flavor. It wasn't bad, but meat selection was small. A ton of veggies. Kaw paw, pork: 5/10. Green beans, bamboo, and meat. Fried egg was in my opinon, over cooked. Flavor was salt. Beef larb medium spicy, no bitter: 3/10. If there a bit more flavor, it would have been good. This combo would be better if it was raw, but with this being cooked, the flavor was bland. Would I come here again? Probably not."

"Terrible terrible terrible. It all began as we walked In The feet smell hit us but kids were hungry so we decided to give it a try. Service was mediocre , one waiter for every table. Napkins were not given , we had to ask for them. The little soy sauce bowls that are usually given- were not.! All the Sochi we ordered tasted the same. You could not tell them apart although we ordered a variety. The best part is when we have our credit cards to pay, they asked us how much tip we would like to leave. We responded that we will sign our receipts and leave a tip as in every normal restaurant. But this place didn’t have the option on the receipt to leave a tip so they just went ahead and charged my credit card 20% without my consent. Awful experience , will not ever be back. This review is not to bash the place but they should really improve their service and quality of food."

"Saying it dendends on who cooks your food, what their specialty is, how the food is packaged, is and will drastically change your experience is a understatement. This place ranges from 3-5 stars you might get great food or you might get something not of great quality. If you get your food in the cubed take out box just be aware all the flavor/juice/sauce has settled at the bottom. If you see the old man there, your food is probably going to be good!"

"I came here to get a beer and a bite to eat after volunteering at an educational workshop yesterday. I just wanted to relax a bit after a very long day! I showed my vax and ID card at the door, and I was allowed in. The bartenders and everyone working there was all smiles. Everyones completely nice, so it was relaxing. I had a beer and the fried Chicken bits, and the beer was really good. The fried chicken bits really satisfied a craving. There was music, I think the group beside me was celebrating something. Overall, the atmosphere was very relaxed and happy. When my check came, I didn’t give a HUGE tip, but I gave them a bit more than 15%. I kind of wished I gave a slightly bigger tip because everything was quite lovely. I guess I was just thinking about getting back because my phone was dying, and I didn’t actually know the area too well. Next time though! I’m sure I will go back because it is near where I do my volunteering."
