"Overall, this restaurant has potential. I ordered a calzone for takeout and found it to be very flavorful. If my review were based solely on the food, I would give it four stars. However, service is also a crucial factor, which is why I can't fully recommend this place.
Here's my experience: I placed a takeout order and noticed they had two locations listed—one at 377 Broadway and the other at 100 Broadway. I chose the closer location at 377. Upon arrival, I was puzzled because the name on the building didn't match what I expected. After ten minutes of wandering around looking for the restaurant, I decided to drive to the second address, which turned out to be the correct one.
When I arrived there, I tried to explain to what I believe was the owner that their online information was incorrect (I work in communications, so this is something I take seriously). It seemed that many people, myself included, were being directed to the wrong address. However, the owner insisted that it wasn’t an issue since the 377 location was an old one. He even printed out a receipt showing the old address as if that proved his point. I struggled to convey that having the wrong address online was causing confusion and frustration for customers, including myself, and it led to a lengthy argument about the issue. Unfortunately, he seemed unable to understand how critical this problem was.
As I mentioned, the food is promising, and I'm willing to give them another opportunity. However, I sincerely hope he reads this review and understands my concerns. If he doesn't address this issue, he risks losing customers who may not be as forgiving as I am."
