"The kitchen seemed to be having a hard time. It took 45 minutes to receive the first course and 90 minutes for the entree. Although the staff was trying their best, the wait times for the food were quite long. The food was good to excellent, and the service was also excellent, offering good value overall. My only suggestion would be for diners to be informed about any kitchen delays and given the option to stay or leave."

"Came here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. The interior and back are really well decorated and chill. Ordered the daily special for Tuesday which is a 3 taco filling of your choosing along with a side of rice and beans with a few chips. I choose to be adventurous and chose mushrooms, squash, and shrimp. Mushrooms were well juicy and seasoned generously. Squash had a great kick to it and reminded me of Thanksgiving yams with a kick; pine nuts sprinkled on top added a great nutty to the squash. Shrimp was also a solid choice, came with salsa verde for a bit of that limey zing. Would definitely come back again on another day for the drinks."

"How did I manage to keep this place a secret from myself!? We dined in and had a truly enjoyable experience. The music was fun, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I had fish tacos, and my brother had a calabacita burrito. The vegetables were so flavorful! The portions were generous, and we felt great after our meal. We'll definitely be coming back!"

"I want to start by saying that we arrived just 5 minutes before closing on a Saturday, completely by accident. Once we realized our mistake, we sincerely apologized and tipped the staff as generously as we could. Despite our unfortunate timing, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was undoubtedly the best Mexican cuisine I've experienced in Colorado. This restaurant has definitely become our new favorite. Amazing food and outstanding service—definitely deserving of a 5-star rating!"

"Food is fair to average quality. This was formerly another mexican restaurant that was good. It Has been under new ownership. Service was ok. Even though We walked in to an empty restaurant and had to flag an employee down and asked to please be seated. The rice was dry and stale, the beans were tasteless and the guacamole had no flavor and was not fresh. All of the food was bland, and tasted like it had been prepared earlier that day and warmed up for the order. Margaritas were syrupy and sweet. Inside decorations nice but furniture well used and chair's rickety and dirty. We need great Mexican options in the area but there never seems to be a great authentic restaurant. Good location and has potential to fill the void with a lot of improvements."

"Part 2: I intended to order the bacon and egg tacos, but unfortunately, they were off the menu due to a shortage. So, I opted for the vegetable tacos instead. These hearty tacos are packed with generous chunks of grilled vegetables, beans, scrambled eggs, and cheese, all topped with Tapatío sauce. Absolutely delicious! I also got the Diablo shrimp bowl, which included a mix of salad and Spanish basmati rice. The shrimp was perfectly grilled, and the red sauce was so good I could have licked the bowl! I’ll be sure to order extra sauce next time. Overall, I was really satisfied with my meal and will definitely be returning soon. Parking can be tricky, but after a few laps around the block, I usually find a spot within a short walk."

"A little pricey and a little greasy but overall a cute, pleasant place to get a bite to eat. I came in around 12:30 PM for lunch/brunch time, and got the Shrimp and Grits and the horchata. The meal was tasty but fairly greasy. Portion size was solid but wouldn't have stuffed me if I was very very hungry. Horchata was $5 and was good (though I don't have many points of comparison). What stands out about M&P is the ambiance and the service. The interior is very cute, with lovely decor. I'm sure this would make a great place to chat over coffee, or hang out for a while. The service is very good. Our server was extremely attentive and kind, and made the whole experience really lovely. I am not exactly dying to return for the food (overall good but expensive), but it's good to know that there's a solid spot in Lakeview that will make for a pleasant dining experience."

"I really enjoyed the Tostada salad with chile verde tofu; it was incredibly satisfying, spicy, and tasty. They have an all-you-can-eat salsa bar, and they also serve chips with the meal. The service was excellent and efficient. Additionally, since the restaurant is located next to Stonemill Matcha, it wasn't very crowded, which meant there were plenty of seating options in a quiet atmosphere. Overall, it was a delightful experience."

"First time ever today. I ordered 2 tacos today, chicken and carne asada. They were the thickest taco shells i have ever had and they were amazing. Only one shell needed for street style taco. Also couldnt have stuffed more premium meat in either of them. So fresh and full of flavor, served up quick. Hope to get back soon!"

"Casco Antiguo was a great Thursday spot for dinner and drinks with co-workers. Our reserved table was in the front, near the door, where it wasn't too loud or too cold/hot. We had the salad, pork tacos and chicken enchilda. For the prices, the portions were large and satisfying. We each took part of our meal home for later. I had the salad and it was delicious. The chicken addition was sizable (shredded chicken about the size of a deck of cards). It was great for lunch the next day. Highly recommend."

"Just wow! Recently discovered this place and I can't say enough about how great it is! The breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious and massive. The special I had today was a pomegranate pork burrito, which was incredibly unique and tasted amazing.
