"We went to Pepe's before a concert at the Art's Center. location is perfect for a dinner before the show only 5 minutes away. The space is very nice, lots of tables with comfortable seating. I started with a peach Margarita with a sugar rim, wonderful flavor, very balanced and not boozy which sometimes theses drinks get very enjoyable. We started with the Queso Fundido Melted cheese topped with Mexican Chorizo pico de gallo served with corn tortillas bubbling cheese with tons of flavor from the chorizo. I also had the Torilla soup loaded with shredded chicken, cheese and little sliced avacado in a wonderful chicken broth. My entree was a Chimichanga with barbacoa (shredded beef) velvety white cheese sauce, with side of black beans, Mexican rice and quacamole and pico de gallo, We finished with dessert I had the Pina Colada cheese cake very good with a pineapple topping. Service was ok a little spotty and slow but always pleasant. We will be back."
