"My husband and I are not from the area, but wanted to find a date night spot with great food and vibes in LA. This restaurant came on a Best Of list and the reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. Based on the menu and the reviews, we thought this was a middle to high endpoint, Nope. The situation was fine, but we knew as soon as we changed that this would not be a good meal. It is basically a pizza and beer compound unless you want a glass of wine for which you pay $16 for swill. There is a map on the table that tells you that tips are not expected and we were told by the person who set us that we see the menu and our order directly from our phones so that we began to understand why tips were 't expected. The food came fair, at the level of chili 's or similar. The service was poor, they fell out of food and drinks and never came back. The icing on the cake paid our bill (on the phone), she added in a 10% tip for herself! Wow, how generous. I'm a good tipper, but it's seriously annoying to put a card on the table, say you don't have to tap and then add a top amount that it determines for bad service. Don't worry about this place, it's definitely a thumb down."
