"one of our visits to Japanese restaurants on the upper west side. I usually have sashimi, but this time I had a light meal mushroom soup and avocado salat. both were spectacular. one of the beautiful things about the place is that the noise level can be tolerated at night. if they are on the upper west side, they try to win it; not be disappointed."

"This was my first time ordering here and I will have to say it’s amazing! Haven’t been able to find a good Asian spot to eat in the area yet and i can’t Believe I hadn’t heard about this place. I got my delivery for two adults dinner within 30 minutes which was the sooner delivery than expected!! food was at great temp when received and the only downfall is I will have to get the general Taos chicken cooked fresh next time I order it but the flavor was greatnesses overall. Will definitely be ordering from here again would recommend worth the money!"

"have eaten here twice since I moved into the previous one, and my man and I absolutely love it! the prices are not cheap, but eating is more than worth. both paints we got sushi for the takeout, and it was absolutely fantastic. the running gear thru pick-up window is very convenient and they prepared our order very quickly. the sweet tee is also delicious. we will definitely continue to get our sushi here and maybe also try some of the hot kitchen! after other reviews here, we have come to the conclusion that if they are nice to men, they will be beautiful again. I worked years ago as a waitress and the people believe that they can be very rude for the staff and expect that they just have to take it. so yes I continue to visit after the reading plan because for us it was fantastic"

"The takeout experience was excellent, but the dine-in service was quite hands-off. We really enjoyed the miso soup and the classic ginger salad, which came with two sauces! The crab rangoon was delicious, and the Vietnamese spring roll, spicy crab roll, and shrimp tempura roll were all very good too!"

"if ayce sushi places go, this would not be my best choice. it is more cheap in price and quality. there was an absurd amount of rice on many of the rolls, and most of them were somehow sloppily rolling so that the presentation was not as beautiful as the average sushi place. the extra rice makes it hard to eat more (which is exactly their intentional likely), and they are obliged to end everything, including the rice, if they do not want to pay any additional fee. no sashimi is offered on the menu so that the rice is unavoidable. the hand rolls are also large, but delicious."

"I go here all the time. I was here last Friday. Always a stellar 5 star experience. I think it was a new cook and he wasn't good at all. Didn't ask how wanted steak cooked then gave it to us rare and he had to take it back. Salmon has fishy taste it didn't have last week and was undercooked as were the vegetables. Only did sake 1x and didn't toss the broccoli ?. He had no personality like they usually have. Had to ask for ginger and other sauce..he never filled trays and biggest complaint was small portions. We NEVER LEFT THERE WITHOUT LEFTOVERS NEVER...Always talked about big portions. Had leftovers last Friday. So sad ?"

"Thick cuts of melt in your mouth sushi. So fresh. Ordered online and it was ready when I got there. They were very nice and threw in extra soy sauce when I asked (they included plenty, I just couldn't see inside the stapled bag). Brought the order home and was honestly surprised by how fresh and generous the meal was portioned. This is excellent sushi. My favorite was the sashimi and the nigiri"

"Asian Wave has been our go-to restaurant for years. The food is consistently fresh, light, and delicious. We've tried everything from sushi to Thai dishes, as well as chicken and beef options, all of which are packed with flavor but not heavy or greasy. The lunch specials are a fantastic value, and we also enjoy dining there for dinner. They always find a way to accommodate my wife, who is vegan, by preparing something tasty for her rather than just removing items from a standard dish. A standout feature of Asian Wave is James, the head waiter. He is incredibly friendly, always greets us with a big smile, and makes us feel right at home. His wonderful service and positive attitude enhance our entire experience. Asian Wave is truly one of our favorite restaurants. As for parking, the restaurant is located in a shopping center with ample parking available."

"Who doesn’t enjoy warm raw fish? Would you like a blood line or a sloppily cut piece of fish? Low quality food at slightly higher prices, but with a wait time that will make you wish your estate planner included it in your will. I’ve now orderedfrom here 3 times, once cancelling a pickup order after 2h waiting, and twice getting the food 2ish hours after ordering viadelivery services where the driver waited for at least 30m. Disappointing."

"Great waitress surprised my daughter with a birthday cake and birthday music over the speaker system. Hibachi food was great. Included ginger salad, wonton soup, vegetables, and choice of rice. Sushi looked very fresh and my daughter ate it all. We had fried cheesecake to finish the meal (It was delicious! . We had a great time celebrating her birthday! Will be back, occasion or not!"
