"I was so excited to eat in owen and motor. the Scotch egg was blissful and the fish and chips wonderful. but our server has taken our experience out of sight. twice, I had to call her out behind the bar, where she drank and chatted. When she then commanded us, she had a faux enthusiasm, “Wow, perfect” or “I love it” as if we were young children who had to validate our choices and they had never ordered a fish and chips. we were not told before the time that a 20% tipp, or eat in the fee as they called it would be included in the bill. we had ordered us to leave a job before the time and had to wait for half an hour after we paid the bill. that was definitely not an experience for which I had tipped 20% and I always tap 20% or more. go for eating and the ambiente and hope they have a warn server."
