"I love eating there because is like warping into Mexico City cuisine. You know it 's authentic because THEY DON 'T SERVE TACOS!. Don 't be turned off by the name. I thought it was just a bar until I saw their options in the window. And I 've been looking for a place that has Mexico City food that 's close and affordable. What else tells me this is authentic? The people that go there. I get greeted in Spanish which I LOVE. The patrons and the atmosphere. Authentic Mexico City desserts, non alcoholic drinks, juices, mexican ice cream and so much more. The inside of my Yardas, has tables with names of different metro stops in Mexico City. It 's really nostalgic. The music is ok, they have a good mix of cumbias and popular music. Sometimes a god awful reggaeton song pops up, but they 're far n between. I 've tried the chilaquiles w milanesa. Didn 't know you could do that, but it works. Had red pozole and it was adequate. I 'm glad I didn 't have to ask for oregano, they brought it w the bowl. My kids had sopes and sincronizadas, They have a kid menu, but Mexico City food is kid friendly if you know what to order. I was perplexed by their tlacoyos drowned in a green salsa, but still yummy. I had a friend go there a long time ago and said she did like it...well, she was expecting something like Chuy 's or Pappasito 's...bruh, then go to tex mex restaurants that have watered down everything."
