"I’m not sure what happened with my order this time, but I've never received bad food from them before. Unfortunately, everything was disgusting, and I ended up wasting both the food and my money—it definitely wasn't worth it. The slaw tasted like it was two days old, the fish was undercooked, and it was incredibly greasy. There was a teaspoon and a half of grease in the container with the fish. I spent $40, and there's no way I'm doing that again."

"Prefacing this to say that I'd been only once previously and it was at the Macklind location…at least a decade ago. Not that I didn't like it, I just somehow forgot about them. I was tickled to learn about their Creve Coeur location, it's extremely convenient for me. Parking is adequate. Employees are very friendly and helpful. "It really sucks to have to write this review. I used to work for pontillo 's and I 've always supported and defended pontillo 's against any negativity. With that being said, all it took was a phone call from me today wanting to order food and getting turned off by the total lack of customer service or professionalism from the girl on the other end of the phone. When you answer a phone call with just a stern hello , you tend to turn your customers away because they 're not even sure who they 're calling. What has happened to customer service nowadays? A greeting on the phone goes a very long way. It 's sad to think that you are probably losing money because of your customer service. When I worked for pontillo 's if any of our employees answered the phone with just a hello, you would be fired. I hope this finds the right people and the necessary steps are made to improve this aspect of your business. It is important."
