"Best tiramisu I’ve ever had! DO NOT GET THE CALAMARI! We didn’t think to ask how it was prepared but the calamari was cold, the sauce was hot, and the whole dish ended up a kind of cold mushy mess. Our server didn’t ask us how the food was, and when we did end up sharing how it wasn’t for us, she said, “oh yeah. I normally tell people in detail what it is, but must’ve forgot.” We really wanted a special meal to celebrate. Service: Dine in"

"The service was great ….. I believe her name is Asia ,but was concerned that our amazing server was doing everything from busing to drinks and clean up. She is a keeper, we don’t want to o see her go. Just thinking that more support staff would be helpful. Lasagna is amazing. We asked for a speciality drink which our server didn’t blink an eye, and made it for us. Very accommodating we will be back."

"Quirky fun Itallian place. There's restaurants you go to where it feels like you got invited to someone's house to eat. Visconti's is totally this. It's this tiny, but really atmospheric, restaurant with maybe four tables on each side with a half wall lined with wine bottles seperating the two dining areas. All the tables were covered in white tablecloths with candles and tall wine glasses. Very nice.<br/ <br/ The service isn't terribly polished: we had to wander through the restaurant a bit to find someone to seat us--up front was totally deserted, but once we were seated it was like a neverending stream of drink refills and crusty itallian soda bread and olive oil dipping sauce with garlic crunchies. The menu had a lot of fun options and took quite a while to peruse. When we got our food my chicken parmesian was scortched. Here and there we had other little complaints. My wife's food was spicy enough she wished she's ordered something else. The kids weren't huge fans of the sauce. But again, like being at somebody's house the little gaffs didn't seem to bother us. We were having a good time anyway. With all the bread and soup, none of us were able to finish our meals anyway--and the waiter boxed what was left in some classy little white paper boxes. It was a good time. I hope to give them another try again sometime."

"dessert room review that is our goal for the best desserts. I'm all our travels that we haven't found anywhere yet that rival dessert rooms in Burn's. a great atmosphere that is atmospheric, but also well lit when it must be. the stands are small remote areas with their own music that they can choose. great for talks especially at special locations. the personal is always super friendly and attentive. they would expect nothing less in a high-end operation. now for the best parts. the desserts. they have a large selection of dessert wines and alcoholic and non-alcoholic coffee choices. great if you like a little bitter with your sweetness. the desserts themselves are nothing less phenomenal. always sweet, but never so rich can only have a few bites. a couple of options for alcoholic desserts as well as, but always tastefully made without going over buzz. the steakhouse can be a little expensive, so if you are looking for only about $25 a person, drive up and get dessert. they will not be disappointed and it will make a romantic evening with their important others. prost!"

"Perhaps the best French bistro experience we've had in Chicago and maybe outside of France. Steak Frites and Frisée salad (lyonnaise) we're spectacularly prepared, the awesomely large selection of Beaujolais wines was an intriguing complement. Our hostess was so thoughtful we arrived 20 minutes late due to marathon traffic, but she was glad to hold our table since we called. Our waiter was great offering unvarnished recommendations. And topping of the evening was a spectacular caramel apple tart."
