"I had an excellent brunch this past Sunday at The Row. While I do enjoy stuffed waffles and other indulgent treats during brunch, I believe that the true test of a good brunch lies in the traditional offerings. We began with the ricotta toast, which was a lovely way to start—fruity and rich in flavor. For my main course, I chose the country breakfast, and it was fantastic. Sure, it was just eggs, hash browns, white bread, some greens, and sausages—pretty basic, I know—but it’s the cooking and quality of the ingredients that really set this breakfast apart. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, the hash browns were thoroughly done, and the thick slices of home-style white bread were toasted to a golden brown. There was some greenery on the plate (still not sure what it was), and the large link sausages were incredibly flavorful, with no greasy residue at all. They were so delicious that it was a challenge to share; I had to fend off my wife! I find this restaurant to be welcoming and friendly. The open layout, the view of the kitchen, the bright bar area, and the large windows all contribute to a cheerful atmosphere. Hedge Row feels more inviting than the typical bistro in Cherry Creek."
