"I ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice, and to my surprise, it was orange. I've never encountered orange fried rice before. The steamed dumplings had an unpleasant taste, so I decided to toss them out rather than risk getting sick. I won't be ordering from this place again."

"There are at least three Chinese restaurants in Charleston that go by the name of No. 1 Kitchen! But which one truly deserves the title of "No. 1"? It's a mystery that may never be solved! That said, the No. 1 Kitchen in Goose Creek is a great option because you can actually dine inside the restaurant. The No. 1 Kitchen on Rivers Avenue is decent too, but it only has one table, and the other side of the restaurant is used for storage. The staff at both locations are friendly and enjoyable to talk to. When it comes to the food, everyone has their own preferences — and I haven't had a bad experience at either place. Just a tip: if you're craving Chinese food on a Tuesday, you’ll need to find another option since they are closed that day! Happy dining, everyone! P.S. Both places are very kid-friendly!"

"I visited for lunch, which was priced at $12.99, with an additional $2 charge for a drink. I believe dinner is $14.99, plus the $2 drink fee. I'm not entirely sure what the distinction is between lunch and dinner, but during lunch, they offered snow crabs and peel-and-eat shrimp. Typically, dinner buffets feature a carving station for those who enjoy beef. Overall, I would rate this buffet 4 stars. It's undoubtedly one of the better buffets I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying."
