"I ordered the Rising Sun roll ($10.95), which featured spicy tuna and tempura chips on top and a California roll inside. It was a delectable roll, perfectly blending flavors that I enjoy. The tempura on top added a delightful crunch and texture, while the avocado inside contributed a smooth creaminess. I also tried the Nabeyaki Udon ($10.95), which is a hot pot style vegetable udon noodle soup topped with shrimp tempura and egg. Just look at how perfectly cooked that egg is! The soup was hearty and delicious; it was so filling that I couldn't even make a dent in it. Overall, the meal was genuinely tasty and of high quality. "I 'm one of the folks who doesn 't do seafood (yes, I know, reviewing a sushi place, stick with me), but my fiancé was recommended Sushi Laco by a friend and there was plenty for me to still order! I opted for the Chicken Teriyaki and they made me a Veggie tempura side and pork shumai as a side absolutely phenomenal. Also got the pork gyoza miso soup food good measure.Will definitely be returning to try their other stuff, as well as feed the fiancé 's sushi cravings."

"I wanted to experience the hype for myself, and it certainly lived up to the expectations. The service was excellent, and the chef was friendly, professional, and very approachable. The hot will was fantastic, and the plum wine was delicious, along with other adult beverages. The food was incredible, and the portions were more generous than we anticipated. We ended up with much more food than we expected, and we loved every bit of it! It was definitely worth the money. The atmosphere and decor were also impressive. We will definitely be returning to Osaka. Great job!"

"When we got to the restaurant, they claimed that they could not find our reservation. We showed them the confirmation and the confirmation number but they said we were not on their list which was handwritten and not computerized. We were put on a wait list and were seated after about 15 minutes. What is the point of making a reservation if we end up on a wait list. Also, why don’t they use a computer? Obviously, in moving from the computer to their handwritten list, they omitted our reservation. It was a very busy night but they should be able to handle or they should not be in business. This is not the only time that this restaurant has disappointed us. We ordered take-out and they messed up our order. We called and were told that they would give us some money back on a gift card. We told them that we would be back this weekend to use the card and they agreed. Last night, we asked for the gift card and they had no record. This place has good food but management is poor."

"I really enjoy their sushi, so I thought I'd give the tempura mix (A4) a try. The shrimp tempura was okay, but I was expecting a more diverse selection of vegetable tempura based on the description. Instead, it was just shrimp along with different types of fried squash and pumpkin. I don’t think it was worth the price, especially since other places offer a greater variety of vegetables like broccoli for the same cost. I think I’ll just stick with the sushi in the future."

"My companion and I were looking forward to a better experience based on previous reviews, but we found the sushi to be just average. The fish was fresh, but they used tuna paste as filler in many of their rolls, which is common in other places as well. I will return for the delicious spicy scallop roll and to try some simple, non-specialty rolls. However, this won't be our top choice for sushi."
