"We visited during DineLA week and had a terrible experience. I have dined at this restaurant several times before, but this time the service was by far the worst I have ever experienced, not only here but at any restaurant. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes for our first course, which had to be sent back because it was incorrect. It took another 15 minutes for it to be brought back to us. There was another long delay for the second course, while tables around us were being served. I requested to speak with a manager twice, but one never came. Our server disappeared as well. A busboy asked if everything was okay, but when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he walked away as if I had said everything was fine. Eventually, the manager delivered our entrees and asked me why I seemed so unhappy. By this point, we had been at the restaurant for almost 2 hours. I explained the abysmal service we had received, but the manager simply said he thought they had been taking good care of us and did not apologize or acknowledge the situation. This lack of acknowledgment and apology was unacceptable. Despite the poor service, the meal itself was decent. I have always enjoyed dining at Drago, dating back to its days in Santa Monica, but this particular experience was terrible."
