"My mom ordered the Clam Chowder, Cole Slaw, and Walleye fish dinner. I opted for the Chicken Soup, a small tossed salad, and the Latkes meal. Everything arrived hot and was well-seasoned. My mother commented on how nicely her fish was cooked, with a perfect outer crunch. The Bleu Cheese in my salad was flavorful, and the salad itself was fresh. The soup was delicious, and after adding a bit of pepper, it was perfect. The Corned Beef in my Latkes meal was tasty, and the Potato Pancakes were cooked just right.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal, and the portion sizes were generous enough to leave me satisfied. I can't wait to come back and visit again, especially hoping to have Rich as our server. Before leaving, we couldn't resist stopping by the pastry counter, which offered an abundance of choices. My mother chose the Strawberry Peach Cake, while I treated myself to two pieces: a Carrot Cake and a Caramel Cake in memory of my late father. The young ladies at the counter were very welcoming and professional as well.
It truly was an unforgettable evening, and a big thank you goes out to the cooks—the food was excellent.
As for parking, there was plenty available—at least 30 spaces or more. The atmosphere felt cozy, quiet, and very family-friendly."
