"First time here on Friday 7 8 22. Everything was spectacular. Best burger I have ever had that wagyu burger bun was in a league of its own too even. Loved the house made ricotta toast every bit as perfect as it was when I had it at Burger and Barrel before the pandemic closed it"

"First time dining here. The atmosphere was incredibly beautiful. Our server was extremely friendly and she was helpful with choices and suggestions. I had Golden Tilefish for the first time and I was pleasantly stunned with the presentation. Just delicious! I can not say enough good things. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to return."

"My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. We dined at 1789 to celebrate our union several times over the years. Our experience on Jan 14 2023 was excellent. Our server, Shantey, exhibited a superb understanding about each entree and made our dinner particularly memorable. She also explained how each item was prepared in a way that was easy to understand I highly encourage feasting at 1789."

"The Wheel is an excellent setting for a meal. Of course in the winter it is not as beautiful as it would be in the summer with the boats and scenery. The service was ok but on New Year’s Day with a buffet there was little to do except take our drink order and come around from time to time asking how everything was. The presentation of the food was excellent and it tasted great. My main complaint was that the items that usually needed to be eaten warm were ice cold and there was no manner of re-heating. My other concerns were that there was no offering of any shellfish such as clams, mussels or other crustaceans. I’m not complaining as there were plenty of lobster fillings and the shrimps were very tasty, but I researched the various restaurants serving a brunch and The Wheel had the highest fixed price. A little more seafood would have justified the cost. All in all it was an enjoyable experience, but the concerns I itemized detracted from making it outstanding. We made the best of what was offered."

"Had a baby shower for my sister in December and perfect' is the best way I can describe the venue and the host, David. Considering it was my first time booking a venue, I appreciated that David did not beat around the bush when it came down to all that was included and how much it would cost. The space was already beautifully set up by the staff (who were so kind) and he gave us room to add our own touches. A huge part of my 5 star review was the food and desserts. I would book again without hesitation and I strongly recommend. There was also a mixup from my family and David was truth worthy and accommodating.Ps. Parking is provided and conveniently located in front of the venue! Thanks David!"

"Hmm. So Valentines Day was interesting. Went out with friends and decided to give Salt Stone a try because there were lots of available reservations and we were booking at the last minute. Walking in, the place looked cozy: dark wood, fireplace, cool chandelier. But it all went downhill from there. The hostess asked us if we would like some water, then never brought it. We waited for almost min before asking if we could get a server. Now keep in mind...we were fully enjoying each other’s company and were feeling generous and patient because it was Valentines Day and we expected a little craziness. Any other day we probably would have walked out at that point. When we asked for a server, the man at the table next to us stood up and said “good luck. I ordered min ago and I still haven’t gotten my food.” He left. Still we persisted. Our server was a nice girl and very apologetic about our wait...however after taking our drink order it took another min before we finally saw her again and got our drinks. Ordering food was another ordeal. One friend had her heart set on the Valentines special (cowboy steak) but they were out. She decided to have the ribeye. Also out. So we asked the server what she would recommend that they had. She said the prime rib dip. Great! We all ordered it. She came back a few minutes later with the news...yep...out. We switched to chicken and a panini. After finally placing our order, our hummus appetizer came really quickly. It was good. But we were starving so not super picky at that point. Our drinks ran dry and again we waited. And waited. Thankfully our friends continued to be delightful and our kids were at home, so we were happy to sit there...even though we were growing increasingly hungry. Long story short(I’m running out of words) our food finally came two hours after we arrived. Yay! They compensated us with free desserts and the food was all decent. But SHEESH!!! We won’t be back"

"Service was awful. Had to ask for bread (2x). Everything came out slow ... including dessert, which we ended up waiting for SO LONG that we cancelled, and called it a night. Food was tasty, though more expensive than other steakhouses I've been too (Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Peter Luger's) with much smaller portions. It's in a Sheraton hotel, so maybe they're able to stay alive with that customer base, but if there was another steakhouse in the area, they'd NEVER last."

"Tamayo was pretty busy when we showed up at 630 on a friday night considering game 5 of the Avalanche finals was just about to start down the street...we got a nice booth table inside right away. Now I've walked by here many times and have always wanted to bring my boyfriend here so we were excited to finally have gotten the chance! Waters and menus came quickly, we ordered and the appetizer came quick too....this is were my only complaint came...our appetizer was delivered and right after our first bite the main course came...talk about rushing... Anyway, the bacon guacamole was so good...nice garnished and a very nice presentation...the other minor complaint started with the app and moved into entree...this is a mexican restaurant...everything we had was garnished with parsley...not cilantro...maybe a supply chain issue? Our tacos were nice looking and very tasty...I ordered the Mahi Mahi and he had the pork with the pineapple...we shared and both were very tasty! Dinner for 2 with only water was a touch over 40 bucks. We are likely to return when we are on that side of the city!"

"July 19, I went there for breakfast. I wanted pancakes decribed on the breakfast menu. I didn't want the buffet. The hostess sat us down. She didnt ask if we wanted to order from menu or buffet. No options were provided. I then told her I wanted to orderfrom kitchen. She says she will get the waiter. Waiter comes : I tell him I want to order from the kitchen. Instead of making anorder for pancakes, he talks me into the buffet which we didnt want. So I order the buffet. The chocolate pancakes were hard andthe edges were dry. Dissatisfied and Disappointed. Waste of money. Very bad service. Its like he didn't want to be bothered totake my order. Why is there an option to order pancakes on the menu? The only reason im giving 3 stars was because on theprevious day 7/18 Mohammed gave excellent impeccable service. And he was doing it all with no help. So I know the standard isthere."

"Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. Sat at the bar and you’d think I was invisible. Took forever for someone to acknowledge I was there. Drink came quickly but sat empty for over 30 minutes after I finished it. Finally got some water after my meal. Sat for another 20 minutes after my water was gone… no refills. Finally asked if I wanted dessert. Got the dessert menu then 15 minutes later was asked what I wanted. Aside from the horrific service the food was excellent, except for the beet salad which was lacking goat cheese…bet there was less than a teaspoon of little bits of cheese. Very disappointing."

"Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was informed that there would be a minimum 45-minute wait for a burger. It appeared that there was only one person managing the dining room, and the kitchen seemed to be understaffed as well. Despite the dining room being less than half full, I was quite disappointed. I usually have a great experience at Beef Liberty, but this seemed to be a problem with management and staffing. I may return in the future, but it will take some time to move past this disappointing experience."

"On my first night, I woke up to discover a brown substance on the blanket right near my face, which definitely did not come from us. It was clear that the main blanket had not been cleaned, and I found this deeply disturbing. Additionally, the bathroom fixtures were rusted, and the hairdryer was housed in a box that looked like it had seen better days. Our view was of a building being demolished, which didn't bother me much, but it was disappointing that we were not warned about it in advance. Parking was another surprise, costing a staggering $47 per night. While I'm not particularly frugal, that price struck me as excessive. Hyatt, please address the tack strip situation in room 1021 so that no one else has to endure the pain I experienced. Although I mentioned the issue during a frantic check-out, the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and only offered to connect me with someone else instead of addressing it on the spot. This should have been handled immediately, even if it wouldn't have alleviated the discomfort I already felt. Overall, this experience was not acceptable."

"I visited this restaurant for brunch after it recently transformed into a new establishment a few months ago. It's a charming, upscale venue that feels welcoming rather than pretentious, complete with a great atmosphere and friendly service. Orkhan, the manager, attentively oversees everything to ensure that every diner has a fantastic experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that are beautifully presented. We enjoyed the mushroom omelet, which was exceptional, as well as the steak with French fries. For dessert, the sorbet was of very high quality and incredibly tasty. They also serve excellent cocktails. Overall, it's a delightful spot for a great meal, a date, or any special occasion."

"We discovered it by walking by, looking for an open air burger place in the area, and were attracted by the relaxed, informal, pleasant atmosphere. The tables on the sidewalk of Second Avenue are properly spaced, there is also a covered area around the corner of East 70th, full immersion dining in a NYC East Side street. We have already been there twice in a few days, and were happy with it. The staff was friendly, ready to help with the selection of the appropriate dish or beer, and service was efficient but not rushed. The food was very good, I particularly enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Burger and the Onion Rings. Prices appeared reasonable for NYC: with burger, beer and a shared dessert, the bill was $82 in two and $98 in three. For warm days when one can sit outside, it remains one of my top choices nearby."

"A couple weeks ago I headed to Stoke for some cocktails with a few coworkers. This was the first time any of us had been and we were pleasantly surprised. We learned that the establishment places a large emphasis on being a part of the community by using local ingredients and serving products from the surrounding area. Stoke offers many of the Charlotte and North Carolina beers which placed the state on the craft brewery map. Some of the beers on tap include NoDa Brewing Company, Wooden Robot Brewery, Triple C Brewing Co. and Wicked Weed Brewing. They also have a great list of unique craft cocktails. Many of the cocktails on their menu are old classics with a twist. We learned that one of these concoctions, The Uptown Sour, intrigued a Marriott executive so much that he jumped on a plane so he could try it for himself! The desire to use local ingredients can also be seen in their food. We had a few of their appetizers (pretzel brioche, beef bone marrow, crispy oysters) which were all amazing. We could tell that this group understands the importance of top notch service when the Director of Eat Drink, Sean Potter, delivered our appetizers to our table providing us with an informative description of the ingredients and preparation techniques. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. I loved Stoke's open kitchen design which compliments the modern yet welcoming atmosphere very well. Although the restaurant is located within the Charlotte Marriott City Center, this is definitely not your average hotel restaurant. Chef Chris Coleman is doing a fantastic job which has created national attention. Stoke was listed on USA Today's Top 20 Restaurants to Try This Fall (2016) and that's a well-deserved accolade. You should definitely add Stoke to your must try list in Charlotte."

"Nice atmosphere. Our waiter Victor was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Pizza which was OK, but what they called Alfredo Sauce was tasteless and watery. My companion ordered Salmon with polenta and cauliflower. The salmon was overcooked and there was no sauce of any kind to moisten the dry ingredients. Way too expensive for the disappointing food."
